It might only be final 24 hours of weekend catchup. And the first end is rarely the end. There are usually multiple extensions.
i blew my budget on outlet store items. Sale itself passed me by.
I read it as final 24 of catch-up, too... but it seems like historically when the last day of the month is on a Monday (as it is this month) it gets a "surprise" extension. July 4 is on Friday, and there may or may not be something special for that, but if so it seems likely they'll just extend it the week.
Usually that frustrates me... this time I can't say as I care. Overall the sale structure hasn't appealed, and the only reason I ever had a DFAD in my cart was for the discount (nothing against the quality, just not stuff I needed), but there were a couple flashes this week that landed solidly in the "win" category for me. It gave me enough tokens that it was worth playing around with the catchup sale possibilities, and I wound up bagging a bunch of older D+ stuff that's been on my wishlist for an age, since I could get it down to 50 cents or a buck. So I have enough new stuff in my runtime to scratch the shopping itch, and it's likely I'll never have to buy a pose pack again.
For the sake of those who do better during the usual sort of sales, though, I hope it switches soon. It sucks to be sidelined.
I let my membership lapse because the sale hasn't been that great for me, but I did participate in the poses sale and the 50% off wishlist sale. Apart from a few extra percent off the buy-ins, neither of those would've benefitted from being a member anyway. It was even refreshing not having to worry about stacking members discounts.
For a long time, though, I've been in a place where the majority of my wishlist contains products that get the weakest or no discount from the daily sales. I'm really hoping they don't keep G9 era products in the recent category until G10 drops because I've 40-odd pages on my wishlist and its growing. Also noticing that other stores are going after the Daz market more deliberately than they have previously done. By comparison, lately the Daz store feels stagnant in choice. Stuff on my wishlist here isn't currently that high on my priorities, despite often being cheaper.
Maybe that's the cycle of a Daz shopper. I don't know - I'm still 'relatively' new here, but it does feel like the store is stuffed full of variations on stuff I already have rather than stuff that would expand my library. I'm not sure going after Rendo's artists has worked for me beyond the short term. Isn't there something Daz can do to bring in artists from wider afield? I'm happily paying more elsewhere if that helps. Definitely not asking for higher prices across the board, but would I pay more for unique or high quality* products? I guess I already am.
*high quality 3D work rather than final packaged product. Daz products are easier to keep track of, to install and, with the exception of Rendo ports, to discover inside of Studio
I wonder if the minimum only applies to newer items? Or to certain offers? It's annoying, whatever the case, as it's yet another complication in shopping here.
Edit: I tried a test cart just now, and some items *are* going under $1.99... Does it change by the day or what?
The June ketchup sale got extended. What say you, @SilverGirl? Are you surprised?
Or as we say down here, the June tomato sauce sale got extended. Just read the funniest article from an American who migrated to New Zealand and who made a spaghetti dish with Watties tomato sauce only to find it's what he called 'ketchup'. A little Watties goes a loooong way
I have an orange banner for extra 20$ off wishlist items. Is that another 20% off beyond the 20% you get for buying a D+FAD item?
Shocked. Absolutely. Entirely. Mind-shatteringly. Shocked.
And now I have a banner saying that because I participated, I can have 20% off things added to my WL before the 27th. Which is a nice thought, perhaps, if not for the fact that it really doesn't make any of the items more attractive than they were when I went shopping on Saturday.
Ah well. Maybe it'll stand someone else in better stead.
I had a DFAD, 8 tokens, a previous doorbuster (the tuba), and it was Saturday. And I'm D+, if that makes a difference. I have no idea what combination of any of that made the stars align as I was honestly just throwing stuff in my cart to see what it would do, and throwing it back out if I didn't think it was enough. I'm pretty sure everything I wound up getting (with only a couple exceptions) was quite old.
for me the discount on WL items, non-DO, is 87% with the banner 20%. They were 83% before. Not a lot of savings but some. That's with the discounts given and using 8 tokens. Not sure if there is anything else that would increase it.
Unfortunately, the orange banner ad excludes "New Releases." Almost all of my remaining WL items are still "New." I'll wait for another day, another sale.
Same here. Virtually all of my wishlist items are either new or don't have any otherdiscount. Plus I only have a couple of dollard left in my store credit. Really need a good gift card sale before I can buy much.
quick question. I currently have DAZ+, I bought it for a month and then immediately cancelled it to prevent auto-renewal. Since then I think I was supposed to get a week extra for free or something, if I remember it right?
Anyway, where can I see when my current membership will expire? I could have sworn it's under My Account -> Membership Management, but I can't find it...
Once your account is cancelled, you have no way that I know off to know when it's supposed to end.
Before the redesign, I think it was possible, but for a reason I don't understand, they removed the information with the new design.
You should have a week added, but the only way to see it if by searching the email they sent you went you purchased that month: if more than a month happened since them and you still have an active subscription, you did. If less than a month, you can only wait for the month to pass and see if your subscription is still active.

I mean, I know when my subscription's supposed to end, so I guess it doesn't really matter... but still.
1. Can we do mock bets on how long the sale extension lasts? I lay mine for "through July 3 because there's something for the 4th holiday - but there's a 'June Flashback' next weekend."
2. Getting a few longtime WL items with my $10/$25 coupon. Including Freja 8. I like her better than the G9 version. I like Ivar 9 better than Kjaer 8, & will most likely pick him up with my July free bundle.
That's the horse my money's on.
I'm hoping the 4th has something good enough for me to use my monthly coupons, since I also have tokens to burn, but last year's sale was a bust for me. We'll see. Even if it's not inspiring, I might anyway, just because it's entirely likely that once this batch expires I won't have any/many again until the PA sale.

I suppose. Except I did use my June $10 Off $25 coupon yesterday & it would have been nice to see if that banner would've stacked. But I got several things, including Bone Minion for Daz Horse 2, I'd been holding off on at very good discounts with said coupon, so I'm okay with how June turned out.
So, I guess the DAZ+ member sale is done? All looks back to regular programming.

Well, no real extension on July1; but the "June Jewels" catagories do provide somewhat of a catchup.

A new much desired feature has appeared in the store. Owned items are being marked "Already Owned" and bundles are being discounted for items already owned. I hope these feature are permanent.
Oh, that's interesting! I tested this out just now by throwing a random G9 character bundle in my cart that I bought as a Pro bundle way back when. Initially on adding, it just shows as the price it would've been without consideration of already-owned items (eg, 74% off with tokens as part of the artist sale) but once I refresh the cart, it is in there at 100% off.
Really! Well that's good news! So if you have everything in the bundle, it comes up as free? (Not seeing anything do that on mine, but maybe I don't have anything like that?)
