    Looks as if the re-installation did the trick. :D So glad because it's one of my favorite dynamic items.

    Cool! Will it be usable in both DS3 & 4? I don't want to assume just because v4 & m4 are shown.

    Gen 4 versions work in DS3. Genesis versions have legacy MATs, so they will work in both DS4 and DS4.5.

    I just got an email from Optitex (Martin's site) about a sale yesterday. There was an unfamiliar outfit on the promo, and I couldn't find it on the site, neither in the freebies nor the store. Does anyone know what it is?

    I just hid the top half of the outfit in the surfaces tab.

    Does anyone know if the Martin's store items have been updated for DAZ Studio 4.5? Or, does it work fine with Mil 4 figures as well as genesis?

    None of the clothing items need to be updated for DS4.5. The basic Dynamic Clothing controls included with DS has been updated as well as the advanced Control Plug-in (http://www.daz3d.com/software/plugins-utilities/dynamic-clothing-control ). Martin did mention the there were several V4 items that were re-rigged for Genesis; but the only one that DAZ has released that I'm aware of is the Ultimate Dynamic T-Shirt. (http://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-dynamic-tee ).

    HELP! I've been having issues with the collar on my dynamic shirt and the caplet on the duster. They both keep disappearing when I run the drape. I'm sure there's some simple step I'm omitting.

    Which shirt? I don't have the duster so I may not be much help with it but I may have the shirt to look at.

    Ok, I did a few sample renders. The first is the duster with caplet (in pink) and the collar (in yellow) both want to 'melt' into the main body (in green) of the garment especially on the one side. The second is the dynamic dress shirt. Again, the collar (in green) doesn't collide with the other pieces but seems to disappear. I've tried running drapes specifying the garment to collide with itself (or not) and in the Preference panel I've tried various combinations of "self intersection" and "face-body intersection" without any great results. I've even tried restoring all defaults. I'm sure I'm just omitting some simple step or two. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Oh, and by the way Khory, I love your products!

    Have you tried increasing the collision tolerance? I'd also make sure you have the internal pressure set to about 1. I find that seems to help with items with lots of fabric that might self-intersect. Also, if you're running a static drape, try an animated one instead. It's nice having the rigging in DS dynamics, but the skeleton for the dynamic items is created automatically, and doesn't conform perfectly, so you might get some intersecting parts if you pose, then drape.

    thehermit64, sorry this took so long! My computer is being an absolute pig these days. I've been testing the one I have.. the shirt, and I am not getting the same issues you have. It is set with "self intersect" checked by the way. That said I have questions. Are you using it on M4 or genesis shaped as m4 or m5? Static or animated drapes? Do you own the clothing control plug in? The add on one not the one included as part of studio. I didn't run super long drapes but sometimes a longer one pops things back up.

    I've been wanting to use this for a while, but it doesn't work in DS 4.6.

    I am having Clothing Control problems ...

    A week ago, everything worked fine. Suddenly, even though I could load dynamic garments and do a static or animated drape, the additional controls were missing. The ability to add wind or collision simply isn't showing up as an option.

    So, I download 4.6 and the updated clothing control so I could finish my scene (originated in DS3), hoping that would remedy the problem, because my serial number is no longer acknowledged, and the DS3 version of Clothing Control that I paid for is no longer available.

    Anyway, I was able to open my existing file and do a basic place and drape, but even in DS4.6, I don't have the extra controls. Any thoughts?

    Oh, and the scene that came out ok with the current limits:

    Make sure the version of the control plugin matches the DS version. What OS is this?

    I noticed this as well just yesterday. All the advanced controls were no longer there.

    I checked the installed plugins page and it showed

    Dynamic Cloth Plugin - Basic 1.3.0.18
    Dynamic Cloth Plugin - Control 1.2.1.56

    Which lead me to look for a new update for the plugin
    I went to my product library and downloaded the latest, installed and now have the advanced controls again.

    Thanks for your list of plugins fixmycpmike. I will now check my versions against your list.

    It would be nice if the library let you know when there is an update for non-DIM products.

    Shouldn't the final number of the Control plugin version (not the Basic version) match the D|S version? I have D|S4.6.0.18 and Control plugin 1.3.0.18 — there was a fresh plugin update to be downloaded when I updated D|S. If you don't update the plugin, Weird Stuff™ happens.

    It's not giving me an DIM option, only straight download.
