Wardrobe malfunction on Jake is now corrected and he will be returning to my gallery. If anyone's interested you can see the original and read the story over at R'osity, I've the same username there.

Spotted a render in the main gallery (https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/422886/) and thought it could do with some Butchification.  Alas, I have no pink shoes sad

laughNothing wrong with sensible shoes. Did he maybe drop his keys? Or is that a new way to get in and out of cars these days? Think I'm having a Dukes of Hazard moment.

He was too lazy to open the door to get his wallet, which doesn't fit into his pocket.  I also insist my models starch their shoelaces.

I don't think anything could fit in those pockets. Well maybe a dime, but it'd probably have to be a very thin dime at that. What shorts are those?

  • Great image! I love his shoes and shorts and daisy dukes!

Lol! I love it.  No pink shoes?  That's what shaders are for my friend!  Make those suckers pink!  Nice work.  It certainly gave me a chuckle.  :)

I had a '74 Pinto back in the day, yea, the model that if you got hit from behind the whole car would explode, I lived dangerously back then.. any who... my door wouldn't open at some point so I was always getting in and out of the car that way and back in those days, that was my booty, round and perfect... now.. not so much!

Ahhh Yay! Halloween images! This makes me so happy to see! :D

I love all the details - the background decorations and the candy and all that! Nicely done!

Interesting perspective/camera angle on that one. Reminds me I gotta use that guy.

I don't have a whole lot of male characters, but of the ones I have he's definitely my favorite. :) I'd love to see more renders with him. Heck, I'd love to see more renders with Asian guys, period. :)

I was curious to understand dual lobe specularity so I started doing renders of two male characters by the same artist; I have to confess I think it does add a certain realism.

    First Raiya

    And Faber Inc

WOW... what's your set up for that particular area of the Surfaces... I was curious but wanted to ask someone and kept forgetting.  Amazing results!

These are the defaults for the characters... it is worth looking at the dual lobe settings for a given piece of skin such as torso because you can use one of the many products to convert your 3Delight Michael 4 or Genesis to iRay and then the new Uber Iray shader to have the dual lobe settings and just match them to a genesis 8 character and you get a lovely translucence.

  • Just because I could.

  • Wow that's cool Darwin! And love his shirt.

  • ByrdieByrdie Posts: 1,782

Yeah, that shirt really caught my eye. Would love to have some really cool Tshirts for my guys, but so far all the textures I've found are non-commercial only. Which I would not mind for fan art, but not so good for other stuff. Cool dude, btw, he some kind of secret agent?

  • Thank you both.

Not a secret agent- think more of a Family hard hitter for when things need to get ugly,

I'm thinking maybe the same type, just sometimes one has a couple of zeros in front of his name while the other ... doesn't. Either way, he's got the Sexy Bad Boy look down pat.

I'm impressed more by his freckles, than the quality of the pic.  Archie skin on the left, Sawyer on the right. Both G8 boys.

    Handsome couple!

  • Those veins are pretty nice too.

Nice job! I admit I stopped buying fw characters because of the gen issue and the repetive nature of the skins but those look very nice

    Thanks all!

I actually bought Archie for his eyebrows.  Freckles were a bonus laugh  As for Archie's naughty bits , they're really quite disappointing no and I've found another skin texture to use.
