Yes they sure do, that burnt wood aftertaste it leaves on everything is pretty special :)

There is a flash sale today? "Today" is already yesterday here so that's confusing

Anyhow, wasted time making power pylons, don't think they help much

I think raisins and prunes have a lot of iron, but I could be wrong.

    It's cadency not cadences.

"In heraldry, cadency is any systematic way of distinguishing otherwise identical coats of arms belonging to members of the same family."

According to my Funk & Wagnall's:
    1. Rhythmic or measured dlow, as of poetry.
    2. The measure or beat of music, marching, etc.
    3. Modulation, as of the voice; intonation.
    4. Music A melodic, harmonic, or rhythmic formula ending a phrase, movement, etc.

So, I think the person who posted that is misusing the word. Progression or order is probably what was intended.

Well, then it was still a misuse of a word. There's no way those symbols can be thought of as identical coats of arms! Only two bear some resemblance, and they are not identical.

    Dana

And still...wrong. I would accept it as slang. But the Merrium Webster dictionary shows this:
    Cadency - Definition: Cadence

    Cadence:
    1.
    a. A rhythmic sequence or flow of sounds in language
    b. the beat, time, or measure of rhythmical motion or activity

    2.
    a. a falling inflection of the voice
    b. a concluding and usually falling strain; specifically : a musical chord sequence moving to a harmonic close or point of rest and giving the sense of harmonic completion

    3. the modulated and rhythmic recurrence of a sound especially in nature

    So...

Today totally blew, even for a Monday. :shut:

    - Problems with timecard system, fixed in an hour, but THEN
    - Something failed in the building power, was out 2-1/2 hours, then
    - Phones died as some server had a seizure, then
    - The software used to track orders and builds failed for no reason

    :shut: :shut:

All ended up OK before I cane home, but what a rocky ride. :blank:

    Beer time... le sigh...

...15 days of 90°+ temperatures so far with another 2 - 3 days to go until it finally breaks (back to the mid 80s by Friday if that can be called relief).

It's been 15° - 20° above normal. the last week alone.

I think it needs a very tall giraffe. In a lit area a night watchman could be sitting on a box or something and sipping his giant coffee, oblivious to the giraffe.

Was out in the extreme outer burbs today, thar be marching pylons there, shouldering electrons and marching off into the distance on their way somewhere else. Night watchman is a good idea and stuff going bump in the night

...at least you can render without fear of your system burning up. Cooled of a bit better this evening upper 60s instead of near 80° Opened the door and had the fan on high to draw the cooler outside air, should actually be able to sleep somewhat better tonight

Ran a couple render tests on a simple scene and still seeing core temps higher than normal but no more 80° C peaks.

It's not really humid unless you have to carry a fishswatter with you.
