The evolution head morphs have vampire & Nosferatu teeth morphs. Expand the Genesis hierarchy and select the head. The morphs will be in the Shaping under Mouth>Universal.

Does anybody know where I can find corncobs (not shucked)? They don't need to be extremely detailed, just look good from a distance.

ETA: The link is bad on the page I linked earlier. Try the OBJ here (not quite as good, but it's nearly there)

I'm in need of a simple business suit, either for Genesis or M4/H4. It'd be a big help if I could find something for free, but I'll buy one if I can't find something else (I'm on a bit of a tight budget at the moment). Thanks in advance! You guys are always super helpful.

I sell suits for both of those, but first try this : http://www.sharecg.com/pf/full_uploads.php?pf_user_name=wilmap

I can't recall if she has already done suiting pieces but I have this vague idea that she has. She has a large, diverse body of work. And if not, there probably are M4H4 suiting pieces on ShareCG or Renderosity Free Stuff by now.

I can't believe I didn't think to check Wilmap's stuff! I feel silly. I managed to cobble something together using her suit jacket and trousers, and the dress shirt from this: http://www.sharecg.com/v/66190/browse/21/DAZ-Studio/Ghastlys-Basic-Outfit , with liberal application of your clip fixer to make them work together. It'll work for my Doctor until I can put some money into the project. Thanks for the help. :D

    No problem!

Of course I love making money, but I also remember back when I had zero budget myself, and I still use freebies even in professional promos sometimes. It's always interesting, hanging around this thread and seeing what people are working on and looking for.

I used to have this great headpiece for V3 before my hard drive crashed. I can't find it anywhere anymore. I used it on V4 with minor adjustments and it is the one thing I really miss. Sorry I don't have a better picture of it. Anyone think they could remake it for V4 or Genesis?

I'm wanting a free DAZ 4.5 plug-in or script that will let me export a character and/or objects, rigging and morphs into Poser 8. A plant/tree/grass creation plug-in or script would be nice as well.

Also a physics plug-in or script would be great. I've been wondering about that in DAZ 3D.

Not really possible to P8. That was the reason that the DSON importer could not have been possible until SM issued a Serial release for Poser 9 and Poser Pro 2012. I assume you are talking about a Genesis character or horse 2. Any of the other Daz figures, ie gen 4 can be used directly in Poser 8

Gen 4. By that I mean the generation 4 figures, ie V4 M4 Kids 4 etc. Genesis is the default figure which came with DS 4 and Spawned the Gen 5 stuff, ie V5 M5 etc.

I tried MCasual's superlathe. It appears some others are available too and MC has done well.

Now, with all that, I'd be wondering f there's a Boolean script that might work with it.

    LOL... "cringes on fire" :)

I guess if I caught my hair on fire, I'd withdraw, too.

Then what does the job of combining two objects into one or removing a shape from another?

In Blender we use a method we call "modeling them that way to begin with."

Seriously, booleans suck on literal non-procedural geometry in every execution of them I've so far seen. If there's a specific geometry you want to do this with, haul it out and I'll devise you a method.

I suppose the crux of this really involves the presence of primitives in a modeler to begin with. If they were extrusions or sweeps to begin with, why put them in as solid or even closed primitives? If one puts primitives in their software, they should include tools to cut into them or add to them. In life we bake a loaf of bread, but somewhere we have to break it or train ourselves to eat like a snake.

I'd be tickled pink if DAZ had a means to sketch a closed polyline then extrude or sweep it. SuperLathe looks as though it might do some of that. I've really been ignoring Blender and such to concentrate just on DAZ. Thus the exploring of scripts and plug-ins. With the likely exception of hair, I'll probably exhaust the available freebies, as in scripts, before I add to the purchase cart. Blender doesn't scare me; It's like buying carpentry or metalsmith tools. Usually you see what one will do before moving on to the next. If we buy a framing hammer, we'll eventually find it isn't practical for tapping in small brads. A finishing hammer will wear your arm out sinking 16d commons for long sessions. If either aren't balanced, you'll either have to suffer or buy a better one.

    I don't feel as though I'm suffering.

Maybe there's a script for sweeps and extrusions?

That's how we do it Hexagon as well!

Somewhere over at sharecg.com is a delightful collection of "holes", all kinds of shapes to save people time in their modeling projects.
Hopefully one day I'll find that link again.

[actually my hair is okay thank you - didn't really burn]

Hay! Do you have this: http://www.daz3d.com/software/daz-studio-4/daz-studio-4-5-sdk

And this is the public forum where people discuss what they're doing with scripts.

    http://www.daz3d.com/forums/categories/92/

Hexagon has sweeps and extrusions. I've been trying to get some jointed hair using them but tend to crash the program before I can export something workable out.

And before people start hammering, advice from my dear dad when he walked among us, Learn how to hammer first.
A neighbour windowed in his around the house summer porch one summer. Took all summer. Pretty near drove everybody batty.
One nail ... oh about 20 taps. Many nails per window pane.
Dad was a carpenter by trade. One nail = 2 hits. One to set, one to drive. That's it, that's all.

    Hi Patience,

(Couldn't resist about the hair on fire... sounds like a new song for Alicia Keyes...)

The SDK sounds great! Put it on the cart. Now I can't find the link to my download page. Went o "My Account" but it appears to have changed.
