NGartplay - glad to see you back, thanks for your comment, hope to see some renders from you soon.

Electro-Elvis - simple but very effective render, the objects are awesome.

Adbc, Rembrandt, Horo, Hubert, Mermaid, Thanks very much.

Rembrandt, Spectacular red sky, nice scene. The Dune render is amazing!

Horo, Nicely lighted mountain / scifi scene. The abstract inside a tree is very weird, but interesting. The Utopia Cityscape scene is very non-typical for you, but well done. Fantastic island render, great sky. The one with the snowy terrain has lots of ridges, maybe a bit overdone, but great render again. I like the inverted version better.

Mermaid, Beautiful scene, good use of haze. The one with the lighthouse looks good. I think the size is OK.

Adbc, Very beautiful bamboo forest render. Your abstract tree render looks horrific! Great sky with the oriental junk render.

Electro-Elvis, Good Boolean work on these broken pillars.

I made an abstract, which I call ‘Space eggs’.

Thanks Hansmar for the comment, nicely done Space Eggs scene

Adbc - two beautiful landscape renders, I like the sky in the 2nd one.

Hansmar - thank you. Cool abstract, could also go as an alien space scene.

adbc - two very nice renders, nice night mood in the first, the second almost looks like some skyscraper cities, very well done.

The last 10 says i was busy finding and testing (hopefully) all options in the TE Terrain Editor. After all the years I used it, I discovered an amazing number of things I did not know. I put a 16 page PDF on my website (Bryce & 3D CG Documents > Mine > Objects > TE-Terrain Editor Explained (https://horo.ch/docs/mine/pdf/TE-TerrainEditor.pdf).

So I finally could make a render.

    mermaid : thank you.

Horo : thank you. Impressive terrain image, beautiful material and atmosphere.

Thanks for the link about the TE, very interesting. It will take some time to explore and try stuff, but that's the fun of it.

    adbc, mermaid, Horo, thank you.

adbc, very well made terrains and great mood and lightning in them.

Horo, thanks for the explanations on the TE in your document. As adbc says, it will still take some time to play with it. Hopefully it will lead to even more interesting terrains. Your terrain looks very good and is well rendered.

Horo – another outstanding landscape. Thanks for the pdf.

Played with spheres and tori after seeing a similar image on Pinterest, lighting from the Grand Mountains product; the second is the same model slightly modified in a partly transparent, partly reflective box, the sky is either from Sylver Dali or S Ray.

    Hansmar : thank you.

mermaid : both abstract images are very well done, I like the simplicity of it and the colours.

adbc and Hansmar - thank you.

Mermaid - thank you. Two very nice abstracts, I particularly like the second.

The object was made in Wings3D, it has some transparency and is in the worldcentre. Around it a partly transparent sphere with a bit of bump by a hatcher. Light and colour by an HDRI in the worldcentre. In front of the camera the GWL (gigantic wide-angle fisheye lens), angle of view horizontal 174° and vertical 124° with the camera FOV at 68°.

Hansmar, what a fun planetary image.  Nicely done.

adbc, gorgeous landscapes.  Bryce rules on landscapes. Some may differ but not me.

Mermaid, I especially like the colored image.  The abstractness of it is appealing and I like the colors you used.  The monotone has great shiny surfaces.

Horo, love the the wet look of the alien terrain.  Perfect distance and scaling.   The abstracts always attract me.  Great job.

Mermaid, two wonderful abstracts. Nice to make two such different variants.

    Horo, Another great abstract.

    NGartplay, thank you

adbc, You've been on those mushrooms again? Very nice render.

I used my previous space eggs scene to change it into a firy abstract (maybe I looked at those mushrooms of adbc too much!). Then I started playing with the TE, thanks to Horo's explanations, and made a couple of terrains.

Hansmar - thank you. Yes, the abstract is not cool but hot laugh. The three terrains look great, particularly so the first two.

The objects were made in Wings3D, the right one is reversed. Simple colours, rendered with the Obscure Light method (Memo and link to video on my website: 3D CG Documents > Memos > Lighting > Obscure Light). The right object is the one used above with the shadows.

    Reversed

Here the anaglyph for the 3D enthusiasts.

Adbc - I love your crazy scene, you are really into sci-fi

Hansmar - thanks, the fiery render is hot like Horo mentioned. Nice experiments with the terrains.

Horo - beautifully presented Wings 3D objects, nice anaglyphs.

    Thank you mermaid and adbc.

Double stacked terrain with materials from High Resolution Terrain sets. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI and the key light by the sun. A high crag with geological rock stratum.

adbc - thank you. What an interesting terrain. It looks as if in the centre rises a high building (must be the material because it looks like bright windows).

It's such a pleasure to browse everyone's images. I'm always impressed with the imaginative creations and the quality of the images themselves. Bryce may be a little long in the tooth but it's still hanging in there (kind of like me).
Here is a new one from me: "Sagittarius Artifact".
An image created with the Mechina model set by Poisen. The various parts were assembled in Modo and exported to Bryce. Most of the  textures are Bryce procedurals except the "ring" which uses the original Image texture. Illuminated by a single spotlight and use sky IBL. Rendered at 32 RPP, TA enabled - about 4 1/2 hours.
    Thanks for taking a look!

Horo - another outstanding landscape, beautiful.

Adbc - two nice examples, the atmosphere and materials are prefect.

Dan - what can I say, I'm speechless, magnificent work.
