Optitex toga, slave loin etc are very nice and you can use your geografted extras unlike conforming clothes posed as you wish, animated drape
Remember, it's not what you show, it's how you show it.
Yes, I do find it puzzling when there are calls for Daz to somehow feel obligated to bring out a mirror-image of a character in a different gender.
I mean, Lilith having no 'mate'? Aside from her make-up options (and you can find some very similar gothic-style cosmetics in many female characters in the store), there's zero about her shape which looks inherently dark or 'evil'. Strap her into a bikini or whatever and she'll look just as heroic and goodly as V6, Olympia and whoever else. Plenty of male characters exist to put up against her. Not being an official 'Daz original' product doesn't make them any less valid. :)
The only real exceptions to that are when there's a different style of character. Freak 6, not nearly so much, because SWOLE and Raw Art's impressive muscular morphs now have that pretty much covered. But I can understand people wanting a counterpart character for Aiko/Keiko-style Japanese animation girls. Not necessarily as romantic pairings, but to depict relatives or just to populate scenes with similar types of characters.
In the same regard, 3D Universe kind of has a male counterpart to Girl 6 covered, but there's arguably still room for a 'Boy 6', since 3D Universe's cartoon male for G2M doesn't have a clean-shaven look (unless I'm mistaken) and, with cartoonish characters, you can't just interchange a 'normal' character's skin with them. With realistic characters, you can very much do that and give yourself hundreds, if not thousands of unique-looking characters, just with a small number of base characters and the zillions of shaping morphs we have available.
(EDIT: I could have sworn 3D Universe had a G2M cartoon character... Looks like they only have one for Genesis. Someone has a G2M one!)
I mean, Daz doesn't have any official characters who look anything like a friend of mine, but after a few hours, I was able to make a surprisingly authentic-looking depiction of her for a birthday card. :) When you undertake a mini-project like that, it really helps to confirm just how powerful Daz Studio can be for character-creation.
Guy 6. There was a morph for M4 called Guy. It looks like G4, they compliment each other nicely. Obviously, H6 is totally a priority, then a friend for Giselle.
David and Freak looks can be achieved with other morphs, but there are reasons for an official release:
- new users want results out of the box and might initially be - sorry - a bit too lazy to custom-dial;
- official releases are a good excuse for acompanying sets, otherwise DAZ may not release male content frequently.
A6 realistic? With those looong legs...?
A3 WAS realistic if you wanted her to, A6 - not quite. Proportions are anime, not real life.
As for the rest, agreed, agreed. Kiddies... with lots of everyday clothes.
I refer to Aiko realistic, not human realistic. Aiko 6 was not enough anime, manga or any toon. She can be a girl in white album but can't be Rina inverse.

wowww!!! Ragyo sama!!! how beautiful!
Totally agree with mouth. I wonder if it will be possible to reach easily this size of mouth. Anyway, she seems to me a very beauty stilyzed character. Until now I like her as base for like anime, even she's not a perfect anime.
Keiko is cute, But I really NEED a counterpart for Aiko 6 Final Fantasy style figure. Can't really work on any project with her without a stylized counter part. As cute as Keiko maybe, I rather pick up the clothes and hair. Very nice selection.
I'm picking up Animated Male first, at least I know the female counterpart is coming. I don't thing I'm going to pick Keiko anytime soon unless there is SOME guarantee that a male counter part is coming for Aiko and the new Keiko.
Has that been confirmed? I loved how perfect that set is for representing the 'Evil Genius' game's style. It's ideal for fandom renders of it! But I was specifically holding off because of that. Stylised characters are the sets where you need complementing genders, without question.
I agree that we need more male counterparts. Because of the lack of a Hiro 6, I had to make male characters using Aiko 6!
Also, I can't believe that nobody has even mentioned the Keiko 6 is practically a rehash of Aiko 3... The only main difference is the breast size. I already own Aiko 3... so to me Keiko 6 would be a waste of money.

Ah, then agreed :).
Those kids are stylised, but with a retro look. I see them quite often, so it might be a good move to make morphs to replicate them.

Splendid!
An update: G6 and Darwin were meant for each other, a couple made in Heaven.

Thanks, RCDeschene, do you really like it? You know how much I value your opinion.

My very sentiments. Even if I don't give too much of damn about the shapes themselves, not even enough to use in slight amounts, the content deals are what keep me buying. But as anyone who knows me well enough here would know, David and Hiro is always a welcomed sight here and always sees to it from my bank account.
took the mens out for some frivolous renders :)
You even gave them feminine haircuts, wow...
is tough to find one will autofit to freak5. or hiro 5.

Well, I've been waiting months now for a male character to Giselle. Having one for Lilith would be great too. However I've more or less decided to pass on Keiko, regardless of her cute look, because I don't have the patience to wait 8 months or more for her male companion
if we count the G2M base, we have
G2M, Michael6, Gianni, Lee, Jayden, Brody.
David seems to skip every other generation, prolly won't see him til Genesis3.
If you need to pair Giselle now, get Jayce for Brodie or even just Brodie. Or FW Jake. They have cute, fairy-like faces.
What about a hispanic? That'd be great!
Since there seems to be some buzz in the air about a male counterpart to Keiko, I decided to see what I could come up with to keep styles consistent. So, here's my attempt to create a 'male' Keiko. I call him Kenji. wearing the Armos set. It's far from perfect and needs some tweaking, but all the same it's a good start for a male alternative.
HoF, what is the recipe? The morph is brilliant!
Agreed, that's a fairly close match, well-done!

Well, to be fair I cheated a little. If you export G2M as a base figure you can import it again as a morph for G2F. It gives you a nice blank-slate male to work with. Dial that in along with a bit of Keiko and et voila, one male Keiko. You can't really use GenX2 to do this since it's not technically a 'morph' it's the base figure, but it does mean that anyone can use this combination.
The clothes were added using autofit, and the Keiko skin was used.
You call it cheating, I call it brilliance, we'll split the difference. ;-)
I would never have thought of that method, thanks!
