I think just the last day of the special offer that has run over the weekend, not the whole PA sale.

those jeans though with just the seams intact
like WTF?

They're a real thing, apparently: https://www.elle.com/uk/fashion/a20120322/these-jeans-have-divided-the-internet/
I think there was a previous go at this, possibly as a texture option for a regular set of jeans. Either that or the real-world version came up in a thread.
I read the article, it’s apparently an LA designer. I never saw anything like that in LA and I see a LOT of weird styles here.
...well I'll say they redeemed themselves after that royal stomping they got at the hands of Saints. ...apparently this whole fad of slashed & torn up jeans has been finally been taken to just about the furthest extreme, The only thing beyond would be no jeans at all.(...hmm, may be a new idea that could take the fashion world by storm).
Though I bet cats must have fun them.
The main banner says this is the end of the PA sale. I'm hoping the PC Anniversary and other end of the year sales are better. From the shortness of this thread and the number of issues posted in Always Another Sale, sadly it looks like this one wasn't fun for even the people who enjoy this sale and often find deals they love. :(
If it's anything like other month-long sales, I'm sure they'll "surprise" us by extending it into October for a week or two.
Possibly. On the other hand the coupon for purchasing a Noska 8.1 bundle is not issued until the 28th of September; so they may be holding it so it is issued after ending the sale on the 27th.

..I tend to always find new bargains (particularly in the PC For A Day Sales, every year. The other nice part of the PC sale is that PC+ items qualify for the "Debut/Still New" products to unlock discounts & such).
The MM, the PA sales have sort of lost their "lustre" in recent years. I used to really look forward to them and often did very well (particularly when Daz still gave out vouchers for participating in the gallery and as awards for challenges) but the sales changed form just a flat discount. I never cared for the BOGO scheme or The "stepped scheme" ("buy 1 at the base discount 2 for the next tier 3 for the next tier"), or and those "collect points" games based on how much you purchased which all sort of dampened the enthusiasm..
Lately it's even become less attractive (at least personally) as I have no interest in G8.1 (or even G8 that much) which are now most of hte products (along with bundles now) needed to unlock specials and deeper discounts. The spend this much for a freebie (that was usually an older product) really was not appealing, as were the stepped "spend this total to get this discount" (sort of like the stepped product scheme mentioned above). Not everyone has a huge budget to blow on 3D content which is why we wait for sales.
Also I again implore Daz to put a moratorium on messing with changes to the site during the upcoming PC+ Sale. Last year was a absolute disaster.
The Clearance section is mostly repeats but I think there's a few new ones in there, too... I didn't see the Southern Lights before. I might have missed it of course.
Very, VERY happy with Dirty Dishes 2 and AM's Lynx...instabuys!
WooHoo! Nice sale today: DOs at their lowest and so are the PC+ items

Rediculously easy.
There have been some very nice products, but in a world of sales, this has been lack-lustre at its politest.

Hmmmmmmmmm....
Neo-Poverty.... it will take the world by storm.
Now I wonder why I purchased anything yesterday, because the same sales are still on today, but today I would have got an additional 15% discount. That makes me... unhappy, and a little more bitter. Thanks, Daz. :-(
It's a very confusing sales strategy, to be sure. I talked about it to someone who works in real-life sales this morning, and she found it rather baffling as well. Where's the sense in making people either wait in hope for even better deals until it is possibly too late, or regretting that they did buy on day A when there's a much better deal right after on day B? Don't get it. Personally, I'd like lots of happy customers better than lots of embittered ones, like Misselthwaite. But maybe there's a fiendishly clever psychological strategy behind it ...
How would you have gotten an additional 15%?
ETA: nevermind, figured it out.
While it's becoming more and more common to offer some item with a very decent discount, but with an even greater discount the very next day, I noticed the last days of sales, the prices tend to go up a bit again, probably waging on the "last chance of this event, next week it's definitely back to normal" idea, pursuading those who have regrets not buying it before at the even lower price.
As for the freebies: they were pretty decent, so there's a reason I sadly already had half of them. The downside is, most of the other half just weren't my thing anyway, usually just the wrong genre, and not really kitbashable to something that does suit me. Of the "pick your free item" choices the past few days, the only thing I didn't have yet, but which I had interest in, was the FG Messy Room. (That one was a bit controversial at release, which is why it was hiding on my wishlist for ages, but it's pretty good now that it merged with its add-on.)
I was also caught by buying on the first day, it's a weird marketing strategy to upset the folks who get their wallets out first.
In a shocking turn of events no one could have seen coming, the sale has indeed been extended 2 days.
