Spuddy, I really like the renders on the first page (I haven't turned the page yet). That space scene just kept getting better and better, and I liked the first!
I especially like the WIP screenshots. Very cool.
I doubt I'll be entering this one as I haven't even installed Bryce yet. Still working on finishing up my Epic between DS and Carrara - then I'm installing and learning Bryce in earnest!
My second entry. Title: Books, every time a new journey!
I used: Queen Anne Parlor Furniture Part 1, R and R time, Candle time, WDJ Christmas lamp, Book cabinet from Secret Agent Series (Poser), IG lights, HLA Book, Genesis female + Chandrani Outfit, RW Ivy pillow, GDC Interios 44 (Renderosity), Shaded heaven, Cypres house, a Bryce tree, a low poly figure, a freebie car and a Hivewire cat. Sky is a HDRI enhanced sky by Horo. I think I covered most bases now! There are a couple of radial lights (in the lamps, outside and in the left corner out of view, and a fill light. The radial light out of view in the left corner has a negative diffuse to provide the darkness at left, while keeping sufficient light on the main figure.
great idea Hansmar nicely put together render ....playing devils advocate does your composition make her a strong enough subject;.there are more dynamic options open to you.... that said don't get me wrong i do really like it
