It's a Kind of Magic - Entry Thread

 

Please enter up to 4 images in this thread. If you don't want to be included in the voting just say 'No".

You'll still get votes of course, but I won't count them! That way you don't have to worry about having to host the next challenge etc.

Entries close around Saturday 10th July or Sunday 11 th July Daz Utah Time.

Magic… we all have our own idea of what the concept of  ‘Magic” means.

For some of us it’s as simple as the illusion of pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Or sawing a pretty woman in two.

For others it might be a reference to The Magi (think about the name) who visited Christ in Bethlehem.

For some Christians Magic means Paganism (for example Simon Magus). For some Pagans it represents the life blood of the planet.

For people like Tolkien (and many others) it could be both good and evil. 

Whatever your feelings on the idea of Magic there’s no denying that ‘life’, regardless of how much of it we take for granted, is Magic.

Life … being able to feel the wind in your hair, to hold a child in your arms, to smell a flower, to walk on a beach, to be aware of the curve of the Earth, to run our fingernails over a rock older than the beginning of  time  –  all of these things, are Magical in one way or another.

That said, for this Challenge the Concept is “Magic” - in any guise you like.
