Unfortunately, it's not useful for me any more, because of one of those things where the current price is $1 million, which throws everything out of whack.

You can easily deduct that 1-million-dollar item. :D

Where is this on / off switch

In the browser addon ( https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1 ) go to the options page by clicking the addon's icon in the browser, enable the  "Total Spent & Total Value Owned" feature, then head over to the Orders page.

I've spent a lot but not nothing near the cost of a vehicle, even when a few vehicles were 10K 20 years ago. If you include computer HW, SW, garden supplies, and art supplies over that same period that I'm pretty sure it must amount to about 10K, give or take a bit. So about $1000 a year is not bad for 10 years.

I can't say in hindsight I'd not buy something or what not from the DAZ Store. Sure there is a lot of stuff I'll likely never use but then again, given enough time maybe I will. One thing that anybody that's been paying bills, buying clothing, and whatnot for 20 or 30 years knows is that things usually don't get cheaper waiting to buy them: they either become unavailable, obsolete, poorer quality or more expensive. 1 or 2 year old computer hardware is the biggest exception that norm, you can often get it reasonably priced and use it for another 10 or 15 years depending on what you use your computer for.

Hey, wait til you get to where I am, just 7 pages away from 700 pages in my Content Library. :p  It's pretty crazy if you go by "full price value" or even "current value but those are ridiculously inflated given that those include full price for mountains of freebies and who knows how many items bought in various DAZ sales for literally pennies on the dollar.  What really matters is the actual "total amount spent" divided over how long you've been buying from DAZ, which in my case is since January of 2005.  So, even though by Full Price Value I have over one and a half million dollars (yes, million) worth of product, my monthly spending has averaged out at less than what people spend for a lot of hobbies, sports and creative endeavors, especially ones that require special gear like skiing, photography. music, etc, let alone collecting antiques or art...

How do you manage all of that content. I'm approaching a hundred pages and I'm getting close to filling up two terabytes.

Is that installed content, or install zips?  For I have 457 pages and was surprised that it only took up about 2 TB when I downloaded all the zips.   But I guess it depends on how old the content is - newer content generally takes up a lot more space than older.

same here. I saw my total about 2 yrs ago and decided I need to find a commercial way to recoup some of that money.

Funny, I added up what I payed for in some other hobbies over last year and didn't feel so bad. ($1600 in VR (equipment and software), $2000 in shooting (guns, ammo and range fees) and $2400 in golf (equipment and coursefees/memberships), LOL)

I have other hobbies as well and they're ALL expensive. LOL You have to pay to play :P

    SOLUTION: no more hobbies.

Going crazy from boredom can be an expensive hobby, too.

My total vs spent is about 12%, which is about the same as the amount of usage I've gotten out of them. indecision My spending went way down after G8 when I tried to focus more on creating my own stuff, merchant resource items, and converting older items. Taking long breaks helps too. lol
