Yeah, I was trying to find where the settings for that extension were stored, to copy them out and then back in again, but... nope, nothing I could locate in there for that.
Anyone else having issues with Daz Deals (Free) today? I'm seeing the attached on content pages and no 'best price' on the Cart page. Tried Firefox on 2 different computers and get the same results. Downdetector doesn't recognise the website referenced, so I can't see if it is a server problem that end. I use it religiously to juggle what is in my cart ;-)

I will be doing maintenance on one of our servers tomorrow. During the maintenatce, extension functions requiring data from our servers will be unavailable.
Planned downtime is anywhere between 15 minutes and a couple of hours. I'm hoping closer to the 15 minutes, but if anything goes wrong, it could be more.

Hi Ati, I've recently started a subscription for $5. But after relaunching the browser and the extension, the sort by % function seems not to appear where it used to be. Can you kindly direct me to it?
It should still be at the same place. Make sure you enter your correct details in the addon (email address, passcode--remember that this is the passcode you got for the extention, and not your daz password!). If the extension shows your subscription as active, and the feature is still not there, I suggest you remove and then reinstall the extension.
Sorry if this has already been asked, but the forum search is abysmal, so it's hard to find if it already has.
I believe Chrome users have received an update that makes the gallery thumbnails on the store page work again after the change to the gallery URLs, but can Firefox users expect that update at any point? (I very much prefer to not give Google the opportunity to gather even more information on me, so I avoid Chrome).
Versions for Firefox and Edge still needed as bit more work the last time this came up. I'll ping @Overdrawn to see where this is at.
Will the Sort by Percentage Off option ever work again on Firefox? I surely miss it.
I don't see a reason for it not to work even now. I don't use Firefox myself, but it works fine in Chrome.
"Sort by % off" hasn't worked for years (on Chrome or Firefox or anywhere else). There are messages mentioning this problem back in 2022 and 2023, and that's just me going to a random page of this forum, not me trying to find the earliest mention of it. It's been mentioned many times (last time was back in August) and nothing's changed since then. Apparently the "feeback has been passed on to Overdrawn" or "the feature works"......but after years, it's pretty clear that broken features are just being left broken
Been using this for a while I didn't even remember the %off was addon feature. It works for me on Chrome without issue.

If all else fails, remove the extension, and install it again. Make sure your firewall doesn't block our requests.
Hey thanks. I have Chrome for my primary browser and I never paid attention to that. It does help for those massive batches of sales.
I contacted you directly back when I first paid for the extension and noticed "% off" not working for me. I tried everything you suggested, including completely removing and re-installing it; there is no firewall issues either. I went through the forum looking for any other ways of fixing it that people may have mentioned (but mainly just found lots of people saying it doesn't work for them either). As I mentioned in my post, the last time this came up was back in August. Someone said it didn't work for them and half a dozen people chimed in to say it doesn't work for them either.
If a feature doesn't work for a huge number of people, and the problem can be seen consistently happening to people over many years, then it DOESN'T work. Even if it works for lots of people (which I will take your word on), it clearly doesn't work for a very sizeable number of people.
I'm sorry this feature continues to not work for you, truly. The issue I've been facing (also for years) is that we've never been able to determine why it fails. Since it's not failing for me and since there's no clear difference between who it fails for and who it doesn't fail for...there's no way to fix it...sadly.
I'll continue to look for ways to improve that feature and see what else we can uncover, but until I can replicate a situation where it breaks...I'm not able to fix it.
If you want to message me directly, I'm happy to try and sort out specifics (try other browsers, determine what other features work or don't, etc.), but much of that has (as you noted) already been done over the years. Happy to try again, though, as I also don't want features that only seem to work for "half" of the group.

Daz-Deals v4.3.0 is officially released! Chrome users have had this for a few months, but I'd missed getting it out to the Firefox and Edge stores for various reasons (for which I apologize). It's now available all the places, though and you should get the update automatically as the stores make it available.
