    *sigh*

A whole bunch of items showed up at $4.99 in my wishlist, but were full-price or another percentage in cart. Maybe it's because it's the witching hour, but these products weren't even reduced in the last week or so, nor do they seem to be reduced today on the sale page. I thought the new store was supposed to fix that sort of weirdness?

    Can confirm:

    Examples in my case:

    https://www.daz3d.com/vr-x01-byos-modular shows at 3.99 (24.95 in cart)

    https://www.daz3d.com/kinley-hair-with-dforce-for-genesis-3-and-8-females shows at 2.99 (27.95 in cart)

    https://www.daz3d.com/sunlit-breakfast-nook shows at 4.99 (19.95 in cart)

What a pity! Received note about wishlist item(s) on sale just 30min ago. That's a pretty bad way to treat customers.

  • Yeah, almost NO price can be the same in the cart. I think someone pulled the wrong switch.

  • Let's hope these are Black Friday prices :)

Female Anatomy bundle, 1.99 but 69 bucks in the cart :)

So much for the new and improved store

  • I think I'm gonna say this is operator error.

  • They are looking into pricing issues atm.

I am highly interested in these 3 items. I have screenshots of the shop pages and the total cart. Should I buy at $72.85 and submit a ticket?

Advertised prices not working, whether discounts on sales or other, has become a known practice here. The new store that was supposed to fix all these problems, has been in long enough for these, and the other problems (such as the store filters STILL not working correctly, to mention just one) to be fixed and there are problems still ongoing. I haven’t made a purchase since the pc sale finished, and I’ve had enough. If I could get my pc membership refunded, I would. I’ve never seen a store, whether online or real life, be this bad. It’s beyond a joke and I’m not doing it anymore. There are other stores that work properly and consistently, and I feel foolish that I’ve put up with it for this long. Enough is enough.

Well, some kind of progress. Prices in store for these three items are back to normal.

    <sarcasm on>

Why not make the DAZ store a lottery? Its behaving a lot like one already. Just don't put any prices on the items, apply a random discount in the cart. Some customers get a lucky draw, the others empty their cart and shop elsewhere.

    <sarcasm off>

    EDIT: added tags

Well, I'm a bit fed up with this. In fact I won't be buying anything until the store has been sorted, this is beyond ridiculous.

This actually worked, emptied my cart and checked another site, just to find a Lilflame outfit 55% off! Thank you (honestly)

Well this is disappointing for sure, got a lot of email notifications from the DAZ plugin saying wishlist items were on sale - but none of them are, or not anymore anyhow, although there was no notification of a flash sale. It's actually kind of mean, I felt so excited. DAZ, please stop doing this, it's not fun.

Yea, I get that these things happen, and I try to be mindful of what a pain it is to operate a site like this, but I was so excited to see the wishlist items go up for sale, and was really disappointed that they weren't. It's not a good feeling.

I experienced the same excitement from seeing these items/prices in my wishlist and the same disappointment when they went POOFF again - it doesn't exactly encourage one to spend..

This is true, but the prices also appeared on the website. Daz should somehow get control over this dreaded store.  :-D

People, stop blame daz3d. Just see where are those letters came from. Does they came from daz3d.com? I guess that is not.

Highly likely, that was russian hackers.  wink

That's correct, the product page showed the same price (checked for approx an hour) as stated in the mail. Prices went up in cart only.

EDIT: I just submitted a ticket (with all the screenshots), asking for an invoice at the discounted price.

This was probably meant as a joke, but I want to clarify, that no, they were not sent from Russian hackers. Those were legitimate notifications from the browser addon.

But do keep in mind that he notifications we send are based on the data that is available to everyone--that data may or may not be correct.

I get you, though I also will say that the addon has likely siphoned more money from me to Daz than imaginable without it because of their price alert emails. So I think on a regular day, the addon is phenomenal, but when there's a pricing error, it's salt in the wound. Even knowing the prices likely weren't accurate, I still got that rush of excitement and it just sucks, you know?

And the same set of prices was visible to users on the site itself.

Yes, I understand your feelings, but we just found out that neither Daz3d nor russian hackers didn't send those letters.

But daz3d' store is buggie at last days. That's really sucks. Looks like they deploy updates to production without testing (or testing on production site - idk). And site must be unavailable (in "maintetnance mode"), when Database is updating....

Shopcart must be unavailable till they test and fix everything.

Currently (I don't know if this is a permanent change) you need tor edeem the Gift Card https://www.daz3d.com/giftcard/customer and it will be added to your store credit, which can then be selected as a payment method.

Just to clarify: There was no absolutely no problem with your great browser addon! I decided to submit a ticket about getting the items at the price showed in store because this actually could further increase DAZs motivation to fix the shop.

EDIT: Typos because of chunky fingers.

Acutally the new store works perfect for me. It's the first time this year I'm not feeling compúlsed to buy every day.  Very good, considering I still have to buy real-life Christmas presents.

I think the store improvements must be supply-side (i.e., for the people working at Daz) rather than for the consumer. Our experience has remained / will remain mostly the same (other than the dubious improvements of now having a useless store search algorithm and occasionally not being able to use the store).

It isn't even helpful on the supply side because now they spend ALL day fixing one problem only to have 3 more crop up.
