I've probably gotten too spoiled with sales, it says discounts (40/50/60%) don't apply to new releases so I guess it's 30% for them.
Well I had never had an issue with buying GCs with paypal here until August this year. After others had reported success on the new sales config, I bought a smallish one ok, and so with the flash sale 30% off, what could possibly go wrong?
You are probably correct, but given the recent complaints about Daz storing CC info unannounced, and latest with Daz displayingCC expiry date with last 4 digits in orders reported by Genaris a couple of pages back, I will not use my CC here.
I have used my CC several times. While initially yes there was a glitch and the system was saving the information contrary to our directives, that issue appears to have been addressed. At any rate it's easy enough to check the Payment page and delete it if need be.
Yes, this is a PAYPAL thing, not Daz. I had this happen to me, and Paypal caused me to lose a cartfull of deals because they blocked the transaction for "review." I was angry that Paypal did not communicate or elaborate on this, even when I emailed and so went through the wringer to speak to human being at Paypal. The person said basically, they're required to do reviews by law; pertaining to National Security. I explained that I shopped at DAZ3d.com via Paypal for LITERALLY YEARS, sometimes or often even with daily transactions at Daz via Paypal so how could such a transaction suddenly be problematic or suspect, especially since Daz is in Utah, not say, Russia or China or someplace outside the USA. The Paypal rep wouldn't provide a reason my transaction had been blocked and was not particularly friendly, and instead was very dismissive that my transaction had been blocked (and caused me to lose a cartfull of items at special deals). "National security, I don't have to explain further to you," she said. I asked if her supervisor or someone higher up could provide an explanation for my transaction being blocked, and she told me bluntly "no one here can or will tell you that, have a good day," and hung up on me. I EMPTIED & STOPPED USING PAYPAL after that and frankly that's been a PITA but I've stuck with it. Paypal did not feel they needed to answer to me, the customer, for their actions with my accounts & money, and I vehemently disagree. You can complain like I did to them and try to wrangle an explanation or even a simple apology and who knows, maybe you'll get somewhere in that, but I didn't. I keep thinking that after the nearly 2 years of NO ACTIVITY MONTH AFTER MONTH (whereas before my boycott I was using Paypal daily and sometimes multiple times daily month in, month out for years) that Paypal might write or call wondering, but... uh, no. :)
The only apology you'll ever really get from a larger company is the "we're sorry you're weird and got upset for some reason" non apology that usually makes things feel worse. So that's one good thing at least!!
NOT TEOTWAWKI, or anything, but in the spirit of FYI, on today's promo page https://www.daz3d.com/are-you-ready-for-octane ;NO PRODUCT NAMES show up on the DEB new releases. The thumbnails show, the price info is showing in the white space at thumbnail bottom along with the little grey icons/symbols, but whre product name should be is just white blank space. I have refreshed, closed & reopened page *several times* and still...

I'm not complaining exactly, but I seem to be getting all the banners for everything when I probably shouldn't. As I actually shouldn't they usually never actually work, which might make some people dissapointed.

On another note, is it just me or do the doughnuts in the https://www.daz3d.com/z-police-props-and-poses-for-genesis-8 really look like they're straight from Blender Guru's tutorial? I've done that tutorial, I can make those myself (and I already own too much similar stuff from the rest of the set).

I'm getting the proper discounts for the Niko 8 bundles, but not getting the additional 10% off for buying a Featured Artist item, in this case an Ensary item.

Wish Niko 8 had come out during the PC sale - would have bought him then. But not straight after a big sale like that when the money is gone. LOL

Yeah, I got that "offer" and own all the items too. One would have thought that, after all of the hype and horrific introduction, the new store software would at least be able to fix some of the old store's long running problems...

I see both offers. The one for 75% is for the CyberCharged and the 30% is for the CyberFunk bundle. They're in your messages. Mind you, I hadn't looked at first either.
Speaking of value... YMMV, but for me these bundles Daz keeps doing that are named for MALE CHARS & ostensibly are MALE bundles, but have some of the products be FEMALE CHARS, MAKEUPS OR OUTFITS really gets tiring. If I wanted to buy female characters, outfits and makeups, I'd do something cuhrazy like buy...a female bundle! I'd like to see male bundles that are ONLY male content. That would have VALUE FOR ME. :)

na. I was offered an additional 75% the Niko 8 Supercharge Bundle becaused I already owned all but two items in the bundle. Ironically, all of the items in the bundle are so old they are drastically discounted. Buy the bundled items ala carte and the total is only $30.58!
No, stop keep saying that. There is only one message at least in my inbox and I got first 75% and now I have only 30% banner. This is perfect example how to ruin your reputation. Good job daz!
