Animating of robots is not that easy, but in Unity one can animate anything,

especially if it works with the Humanoid rig.

Below is an example animation of Great Greymalkin Robot

    https://www.daz3d.com/great-greymalkin-robot

together with a couple of the other figures.

That's impressive with the long skirt... I think adding dynamic bones would be very interesting for something like that :)

Thanks a lot for the comments, Mada.

It was just a quickie to see, if the older characters could be transferred to Unity.

Once there, one can extend them almost infinitely.

I agree that the skirt is impressive.  I never get much joy with using characters in skirts like that in Unity.

    I usually stick with pants!!

A couple of more realistic characters.  I am finally getting some interesting results with HDRP environments which is great!!

I've got to get a better way of taking screenshots as the anti aliasing looks like garbage sorry!!

Thanks. Nice to see your renders, MangeyDesigner.

I am using freebie Screenshot Companion in Unity to take a screenshots.

Have tried to apply Dynamic Bone to the skirt, but without a results, yet.

While using Third Person controller, arms and hands intersect with the skirt

in stanby pose and I do not know, how to rise the hands to avoid that.

Optimally the hands should interact with the skirt, but I do not know,

    how to achieve that, yet.

Thanks so much for the name of your screenshotter... it works really well!!

In regards to the hands and the skirt I think you will need to modify your idle animation or try some different idle animations with your controller.

some more screenshots in the snow :)  they look better and I can capture action shots now which is great.  I also fixed up the screenshots on page 1.  Not sure why they disappeared!!

    Looks great, MangeyDesigner.

Yes, you are right, probably the easiest way is to change the idle animation.

I have not done that before, but now it is a great opportunity to learn something new for me.

You can restrict the range of motion limits section when configuring an avatar, it's not the easiest thing to use but it is built into Unity.

    Thanks for the tip.

I have looked at the configurations options of the avatar, but it is not really obvious.

I have to find some tutorial on such matters.

I'm making a VR experience of my Colosseum in Unity. A PITA to set up but still loads of fun :)

I was testing in Unreal and Unity, but with Daz Bridge to Unity it seems to work better for me, the shader stuff I use works much better. So I chose Unity.

The above landscape was created with Gaia 2 Pro.

Gaia uses its own HDRenderPipelineAsset settings in its own file (PWSHDRenderPipelineAsset)

and even after I have added Daz Bridge's diffusion profile, Genesis 8 people still renders with greenish tint.

Just wonder, if anyone has solution/fix for it.

Try setting the diffusion profile per material (instead of just in the settings) and see if that helps.

Thanks. It has helped, so now I can use Daz characters in Unity, even if the other assets from Unity will screw up skin settings.
