Daz to Blender 2.0 bring in a pose not working

benniewoodellbenniewoodell Posts: 1,999
September 2020 in Blender Discussion

What a wonderful thing to wake up to! It is so great to see an environment being brought in through this bridge, as well as the size issue seemingly being fixed upon my first import. Sadly the dForce hair I had on my character didn't come over but maybe that'll be part of 3.0, or maybe it can't be done with how the hair is made. I can always create hair in Blender with the particle system so it's not the end of the world. I also got two characters transferred over at the same time which is perfect! But I'm wondering if anybody has gotten their poses to work. I tried my own pose as well as about ten others from various packs to no avail, except from the base pose pack for G8, which is one of the ones that always worked with the first iteration of the bridge. I'm wondering if it's a different way now than through the #get pose command from last time or something else. I got a little excited too quick when I read there was better pose support on the sales page lol.

Oh, that e-mail meant the DAZ plugin has been updated? I'll take a look in DIM.

@lothar weber Oh, good to know. I'm still using 2.83, I haven't made the leap to 2.9 yet, which if it doesn't work for you than I shall wait a bit for those kinks to get worked out. Everything but the poses and dForce hair seems to work alright in 2.83 thus far.

@brainmuffin Yeah, it's in DIM but you'll have to reinstall the zip in Blender to get it to work.
