Some products not updating

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I have a few products that show up in the Updates tab.  When I right-click on the little circle-arrow in the upper-right corner of the icon and select Install Updates, it looks like it is working, but when it is all done, it still shows it needs updating.

Here's what I've tried...

  • Deleting product and re-installing
  • Updating Metadata, and then selecting Install updates

It is also important to note that many other updates work just fine.

    Yes, this is a known issue - it's because of the accented a in the item name.

    I've found for some items, downloading the offline connect install files and installing them fixes whatever it is that gets stuck in Update mode.  The Sea Shanty set has that additional accent mark issue, but this worked for getting it out of Update, even if the broken instrument is still broken due to the accent.

    Is it being fixed? I haven't seen any posts on the subject since the original mentions over on the "sale problems" thread.
