Sup! I'm looking for a figure and clothing for Genesis 8 in the witcher theme. The only really similar stuff I found here is a bundle called "Hunt or be hunted", but sadly it's for G3 :(
So, any suggestions for Geralt and Triss? :D

I'm actually surprised there hasn't been more 'inspired by' fantasy outfits for G8 based on Yen, Triss and Ciri's outfit. I'd love to see Triss' DLC dress or a character/outfit based on Keira (I'll continue to dream about those). I keep seeing outfits in the store that have similar look to games/movies/comics, but not so much W3. And arguably, W3 has the best outfits/armours in any fantasy game (from a realism/detail standpoint).
I don't know if this is the case but maybe it's a fine line between inspired by and somebody taking notice and saying copyrights rights are broken. This could be a deterrent to try some stuff.
Although as you said, some PAs have been inspired by some of those outfits. Catwoman is everywhere, for example. Maybe it depends on the PAs.

Albane really looks like the Witcher with the right hair on him and a golden eye texture.
I wouldn't be discouraged just because it's a G3 character. It's a great looking, high quality bundle.

The Celebrities thread says that Tempest is not, in fact, Anya Chalotra, but the fact that I'm not the only person who thinks so makes me think that she might do.
I recently did some Witcher fanart, and I can say that while I love love love this set, the clothing does not work perfectly on G8, even with manual conversion. The o-rings on the chest become distorted and that is a disqualification for my overly anal perfectionist eyes. I ended up creating a G3 character just for this scene. Geralt as a character isn't exactly known for his winning smile, so losing the superior emoting with G8 wasn't a big deal here.
I know G3 clothing on G8 (and vice versa) is supposed to be seamless in terms of conversion...but it's not always the case.
In terms of the character himself, it depends on if you want to channel game-version Geralt, or Henry Cavill Geralt.
for the Henry Cavill Geralt look at GordonHD for Jonathan 8 it is a good look
stop autofitting G3 clothes to G8!
rotate arms 45° thighs 6°
select bowtie icon rightclick
bake rotations
change scene identification to genesis 8 whatever gender
(under menu in scene outliner]
and just fit it
Even with this process, the buckles on the armor will become distorted across the chest on G8. The process usually works, but not always, especially when it comes to metal pieces. I'll have to post a comparison when I'm done fiddling around with what I'm working on.
Yes, he's pretty much a dead ringer for Henry Cavill. I would be surprised if Redz were to come back and say they didn't have inspiration for that character there.
