Those are freebies today, but they are also New Releases. Maybe tomorrow they will show up under Still New… (One can hope, anyway.)
They are not listed as Debut New Releases on the sale page, which explains why they do not get the loyalty discount. This may or may not be the intended behaviour.
Hmm, I wonder whether there is an incentive for folks owning most of the items of todays staff bundle. At least it was with the first one. Maybe the message/banner will drop in later on.

The set barely breaks even for me. Certainly no reason to buy it at that price.
You know that the loyalty discount applies to it, as in my cart it drops to $ 54.87 (= 30% off listed price)?
I hope so. For those of us with almost all of the items, it seems there should be another promo for us to get the items/HD character like last time. Fingers-crossed for a banner!

Seems like they are punishing loyal customers who own most of the bundle. Not going to pay over $78 for a couple of items I never wanted just to get 4 freebies. They should let us create our own bundle of unowned products. Although I would probably still find it hard to find that many unowned products I really wanted for $78.38. So far not impressed with this "loyalty" sale at all compared to the PC sale...
For me, that makes a 30% discount total compared to buying the unowned items plus the free items separately. A little less than the 70% it gives for people not owning anything from it.
yeah it's starting to feel like the promotions are getting worst over and over, the list od old products are getting smaller and less good things,that "new bundle" feel very bad since it have stuffs from "others bundles" which means if you already had bought kanade 8 pro bundle, you have 1 less stuff from this bundle, the same goes for mika and josie, it's really feel bad when you mix stuffs from others bundles in another bundle, if all the stuffs where things "outside bundles could be ok but not in the current way, again non good reason to open my pockets today too.
The staff pick bundle offered today is a nice offer accept if you own everything offered already..lol then its not worth it . the only thing i didn't have in the staff pick bundle was Kanade 8 and I'm not going to buy a bundle to get that 1 character.

the bundle today is expensive ...
its not really expensive if you have a good loyalty reward points .. mine is only 20% so its not a good incentive to entice me. but some other folks have as much as 35% loyalty rewards discounts. then add that with a Pa+ members discount. you could possibly get it for under 50 bucks . Plus you would get the 3 free Christmas products and 1 HD add-on, and then be eligible for the other big 70% off discounts etc. its not a bad offer really . But make sure to check the content offered in the bundle because if you have all but 1 item in the bundle its surely not worth it at any discount
proably need to qualify what i said ... its more than i'm willing to pay for that bundle. the 70% off works for me with a new PC+ product in cart. thats a great deal.
No kidding. The only thing I don't already have is the expressions pack, which I could have picked up for a few bucks several times in the last month. The fact that we don't even get the loyalty bonus on the "free" items if we already have the contents of the StaffPicks bundle is the real rip-off. Then again, the inclusion of both the Kanade 8 and Teen Josie 8 bases, both of which have been given away as promos multiple times in recent months, are included would seem to indicate that goal was not to create value with this bundle, but rather something with an inflated ticket price for which a huge number of customers would almost certainly own the most expensive items, thereby effectively negating the loyalty discounts.
Where I come from we would call this approach 'kack-handed'. I assume deliberately so.
I have 7 of the 13 items in the Bundle 2, and what I don't have, I didn't want in the first place. However, the bundle is a nice package for new users, that may not have a lot of stuff in their runtimes.
All sales at Daz are going to hit your sweet spot on one day, and not on another day, (or two or three days.) The customer base is large and varied. There are always new people who're just getting started and need a lot of everything. And people who've been around for years and don't really need anything to continue to create art. And of course, those of us anywhere in between.
And that doesn't even take into account personal preferences!
3D lends itself very well to Horror, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy. We can create worlds and characters that would be impossible or very expensive to create in real life for our photoshoots or videos. But not all customers are into Horror or Sci-Fi or Fantasy. Or all things female. I want to see more, quality, products for the males, for example, but that's not what sells so that's not what the PAs create. (They may love what they do, but they still have bills to pay and families to feed.)
I wasn't planning on getting Darcy, but when I created a test cart of $50 worth of product, that I could get at no additional cost, I soon realized this was too good a deal to pass up. After spending the money, though, I'm actually relieved the days since haven't held anything I had to have now.
All that said, I really wish those three free new releases weren't tied into the Bundle 2 promotion. Or the one free HD Addon.

Well, the last Staff Picks I got a purple banner but nothing with this one. Since I have half the items already, even with the loyalty discount it's not a great deal. It works out to be the same price as a newly released Pro bundle where I have nothing of the items and that's the price before any discount applied for purchasing add-ons. So a definite pass for me
Yes, t would have been nice to give the freebies to those who already have at least half the items...a little disappointed in that and even more irritating to those that have all the items I imagine

Loyalty discount seems to be not applied on todays new releases yet.
