Yeah, it's not great.
The link on the PC+ Anniversary page will initially sort them by Popularity, even if "New Arrivals" is what actually shows on the Sort By list. Try actually selecting New Arrivals on the drop down menu and it should put them into release order, putting the older items to the end of the list.
I'm managing to find quite a lot using the "Figure" filter to remove the content for older generations ("N/A" is quite a useful filter here, as it'll find a lot of props and environments) and the artist filter; Daz Deals is also useful for the % off sorting, as that quickly finds the bundles or and the really fancy sets that are a great deal at this price.
Still, yes, it would have been nice for the newly added items to have their own section.
Hm the shop did have some hick-ups when they usually have flash sales but no flash sale just price changed back and for.
Here's those I've found. Note that with at least one of the bundles the individual items are also in the sale so I haven't included these. And remember to check that you don't have the individual items from the bundles already, as always.
Usually I get CS action within a couple of days; but I currently have a simple refund of price difference ticket that has been open for over 5 days with no response after the initial robo acknowledgement.

Same old same old. Cart contained 3 new items, 1 free halloween item, 15 or 20 PC for a day items. It was a thing of beauty: $432 of stuff for $48.
Hit checkout, grand total $345. Say what?
Reload. Nope.
Back out of the checkout and try again. Nope.
Log out and in. Try a different machine. Try a bit if removing stuff.

Is it that I've purchased so many items in the past that trying to itterate throught what I have to apply sales stuff breaks the system, because this doesn't seem to happen as often to other people, but not everone has a 311 page product library. Is it that I already did one 4 item purchase to get a discounted gift card? Why? Why always me?
Were you checking out right as the store switched over? That tends to make cart prices go crazy.
Started trying about 10p our time, which is 8p DAZ time.
I did check again at the witching hour to see if things had improved. They hadn't.
Assuming you didn't wait more than an hour to come post about the problem, my guess is it was past Daz Midnight when you hit the "Proceed to Checkout" button and the special deals had expired. I've done it. As the saying goes, "been there, done that," so I know how frustrating it can be.

And now we're an hour past the witching hour and the new sale is up. Cart is still trashed by the loss of every last PC for a day item and my free horror item. Moved all those to the wishlist.
All this has gotten me too angry to enjoy laughing at a character named Candida, possibly the yeast least sexy name you could give a woman.
I waited four hours. I wanted to see if DAZ midnight (I prefer the term "the witching hour") would resolve it. I've had cases where everything started working again just before the witching hour.
I'll hit support with this tomorrow. This has happened to me enough times that I've gotten into the habbit of making screen caps of any large cart before I check out (small carts, I just figure "what's an item or two"?) but nothing will come of that until after the weekend.

Support usually straightens things out, but it's the frustration! Sales are supposed to leave you going away happy.

The PC+ Items for a Day discount just stopped discounting. They were ringing up with the extra 10% off, now they're all $1.99. I had 3 New items in my cart and deleted one of them and the discounts went away - I'm guessing because one was the special of the day (the kilt outfit), so i put another new item back in the cart - nope, still no discount. Added a 3rd new item, no discount. Added another PC+ item for the day - still no discount. Is anybody else having a problem?
The freebie item rings up at $0, so it's obviously recognizing the 2 New items.
You had 3 New items not 2, I'd bet on that to take out one new item.... and it should work. The sale says:

Good point. But I already fixed that and I do have only 2 items. And the Bundle Buddy item is free, so I know it's recognizing the Debut New items.

Custom Nails, I know about, but 'Custom Mails', is kinda confusing.
Not how I read it but I'm not getting the extra discount on PC for a day iems with only 2 new in the cart, but it does seem thats how it works; there's nothing in the PC for a day that I'm particularly interested in certainly not enough to buy 4 things I don 't want to get an extra 20c off.
I totally agree. There are a couple of Wishlist items that I'll get for a great price and that's it for today.
