One just recently started, and it's now 10 in the morning in central Europe. All the other flash sales are still there, too--even though they started as "6 hours only."

I didn't even bother trying as they say 6 hours and that last one was already there when I got up, I just presumed they had expired, it really would help if it was a bit clearer.

Meaning if you go into one of the older banners across the top, garden of good and evil for example. that have artist sales at 50% off, those no longer work, and the items are all at full price.

Well, 60% "flash" sale is as good as or better than the previous promos, but it is confusing to still have the offers there if that is why they are not working.

Yeah, Linday is a featured artist in the animation sale, but Lost Lagoon Bundle is showing full price instead of 50% off ( like it was yesterday ). If you combine with a new release from that sale, the price drops from $44 to $35 instead of the expected $17. And, Linday is not included in the flash coupons.

It's not all artists A-D, only select ones. The fact that the banner was wrong was pointed out when that sale was first issued yesterday, and it was corrected for the next ones. It looks like they used the wrong banner as a base when they put the sale on again.

This is kind of a weird sale to have. 60% off nearly everything is nice and all, but we're limited to six items per cart, it's divided up very inconveniently so you can't mix and match, and because it's coupon-based it means you can't combine it with any platinum coupons you might still have. Why not just have a one day 60% off the whole store sale instead?

one thing I've noted with these 60% off sales, the full price seems really high. Even with 60% off, the price is what it used to be a couple years ago. Yeah everyone needs to make a buck, but hobbyist is hard to justify. 
I still buy too much though.... and these sales I'm looking at everything needs to be in my purchased product catalog.

Well, WHAT gets the discount seems to be all over the place.  But between coupon and sales I just managed to snag some Kiberetto things for like 88% off.

you are probably just used to deeper discounts so 60% off doesn't seem like much.

Always lots of mistakes and errors ongoing in the sales but they never manage to push the wrong button and sell items for 10 cents each. I can only hope. :-)

I've gotten the impression that a lot of this stuff is thrown together at the last minute, so there's a lot of cannabilizing text from previous ads... hence the purple banner offer I got on Sunday, Nov. 17  that was good through the end of Wednesday, November 17, and the fact that the text explaining how a sale works is often not quite right in the description.

Yep.  That's what happens when a store lives and dies by the super-discount sale -  the "regular" prices on everything start to creep up to compensate.

It seems to me the DAZ sales are geared towards regular shoppers. For those who only visit the stores once in a quarter I guess many sales are quite complicated. It's not always as straightforward as putting an item into the cart and enjoy the discount.

Do irregurlar shoppers who only come here once every few months make up a significant portion of the DAZ store's total sales volume?  Probably not and I rather doubt that the occasional sales to those fringe customers are something that figures heavily into DAZ's overall marketing strategy... except in terms of getting them to come to the store more often, which frequent crazy sales and coupons would tend to do.

I agree. Maybe that is an intended side effect with the sales? The many and sometimes not easy sales programs shall persuade the occasional customer to visit the store more regular and buy more. I mean, a lot of the sales and the PC+ model revolves around principle the more you spend the more you save.

The Monday Animation Mega Sale seems to be broken.

Animation items and Featured Artist Items are not 70% off with the purchase of two Monday Animation new releases, only %40 off.
The discount drops to 20% off, not 60%, with the purchase of one new release.

Just out of curiosity, I put Xenogirl (a DO currently in Fast Grab) in my cart and applied the coupon FLASH-DEAL, which is supposedly good on all Daz artists from A-D, and the coupon code was rejected.

FastGrabs do not usually take other discounts.

Anyone else having issues with the FLASHY code saying it's invaild? The other 2 I used for me worked just fine. Everything in my cart is from the banner page.
