...because they are trying to tell some of us we are not worthy of thanks...
I think I get to say this every year…

40% off New Releases is good, 50% off New Releases is even better. And you can get that 50% off a New Release when you include an older, featured, back catalog product in your cart. When you qualify for a coupon, those New Release discounts get even better. And if the product is a Daz Original, your member discount will stack with the intro discounts and the coupons.
I doubt it, if only because Jack isn’t wearing his party hat yet ;)
Sale is different every year. However there are a few past offers which may come back :
Based on my own experiences of shopping on the Daz site for five years this month, (my first paid order was on Sept 29, 2014, and included a quarterly PC Membership…) 40% - 50% off is pretty good on New Releases for the PA Festival. It used to be a "punch card" sale. You'd have one week to build up five punches to get a better discount the following week. (I'd just got started with Daz Studio, and I don't remember if the intro discount was more than the usual 30%.)
Back then, Daz really liked the Punch Card sales. A lot of Daz customers did not. By the following PA Festival, Daz tried something else with the Punch Cards. They didn't expire at the end of the week, but dropped off after so many days, probably after five days because having 5 punches got you the best discounts on products. If you bought something every day, you'd get the best discounts throughout the sale. People complained, Daz changed it. Those of us who had earned the punches though, got a flat discount for the remainder of the sale. The discount was based on the number of punches you had at the time. I had five and qualified for the highest discount, which was 64% off.
By the following year, if memory serves, the PA Festival started using the March Madness sales format of 40%/50%, which they are still using.
It's too early for the PA sale to finish. The two big sales, PA and PC+ started as one month long each, but for the last several years they've been extended to five or six weeks. It'll be someone else's bright idea making up the sale offer for tomorrow, but it'll still be part of the PA sale. Maybe for once I'll buy something out of it.
While I didn't get a banner, I did get a nice offer via email a bit ago...
Honestly, this wouldn't be a bad sale. Ordinary on most days, but the coupons do give you a couple of extra days when you can really fill that shopping cart. The current "thank you" sale is a total disaster, and will probably leave a bad taste in many people's mouths, but without this, I personally would have said this was a decent sale.
Lucky you.
I didn't get one either, but because @WandW said something, I did go look. For that I thank her, (him?) because I've gotten lazy in my retirement and don't check that email like I should, and had there been an offer, I'd have undoubtedly missed it. (I'd change my email with Daz, but then I'd lose my username. The site software won't allow apostrophes in usernames anymore…)
The G8 one? I deleted without even thinking about it.
Same here. I didn't get any of the "Thank You" banners (all of my spending has been through store credit), but the email offer is nice, even if I don't end up picking up anything.
Not sure if I'll make use of it since none of the items were on my wishlist, but I'll definitely consider it. (Would be curious to know if different people got different item offers, or the same thing).
I've never had an email offer from them before, rather than having something pop up directly in store. I kind of like it.
(I think something like the email offer or a purple banner would have been better than making a storewide banner that said to log in for a discount, and then not had anything if you didn't qualify). The real downside seems to be the disappointment of having your hopes up of seeing something cool, then finding nothing at all. Whereas with the banners it can be annoying not to get anything, but it didn't suggest that you should have gotten something when you didn't.
No banner, no email offer either. Okay, I'll shut up now. :D
Daz Originals should not have been in that list, and has been removed - some items were getting the 40% because the PA who made them, and was still listed, was in one of the promo lists for today.
Just went to check my emails - nice offer, if I had any use for G8F clothes... which I don't. Now if it had been G8M clothes I would have dived on the offer.
I know, never satisfied, but an great offer on something you'll never use doesn't wow me.
Beware - I changed my email address one time a couple years ago and it caused me to lose visibility to all help requests that I had submitted prior to changing email. This happened even though the previous email address was still a valid account that I get mail on (just no longer associated with my Daz3D account).
Essentilly the same here. No, email offer and only the measly 7% discount despite spending nearly $600 in store credit during the sale. Well there are oher sites where I can spend my money. I just wish I could use what remaining DAZ store credit I have on them.
0% in disount feels even more measly lol, sorry, just had to be said. I understand how you feel since you did spend a lot, but no discount/banner/coupon in a long time feels even worse. I would not jump up and down of joy over 7% but it would be better than nothing.
Just got the nice offer, found 3 things I can kitbash for male use. Sorta ... the third one will only work with my sometimes cross-dressing Consulting Mage. Just couldn't resist those heels.
No nice offers for me. Oh well I can spend my money on thethe other site where there are some good daily prime offers
Same.
I got the email offer for three items, but I'm not getting the discount.
Before the sale I got me $ 200.- shop credit (= gift card) for about $ 160.- and now it's all spent for... mostly... flash sales and FastGrab stuff. So that should explain enough how I rate this "sale"
Nice for those of you who got the email offer but still no offers for me. I guess DAZ doesn't want my business anymore
I got a 17% off coupon but no email. They really should just give everyone the same deal or tell people in advance something like, if you spend $500 or more you’ll get a coupon for 20% off, $200-$500, 15% off, etc.. Then people will know what their discount will be and may purchase more to get to a higher discount at the end of the sale.,,
Hmm. I just got a Daz-Deals email about a new promo, but there's no new promo. Not that I was expecting one at this time of day.
I just realized that the promotional discount was for my other email account and not the one I use to buy from Daz. Apparently they only wanted to give me a discount on an account that I've never spent any money on.
Keep being you, Daz.
Guess they realized no incentives needed to spend store credit since the gift card purchase has already been recorded as a cash sale on the books. Ironically the PA's don't get their cut until a sale is made with the store credit, no?
I still have over a $5,200 store credit balance. Give an incentive to spend it and help the PA's bottom line, LOL...
