Yes, LDP-R works well and I only need to play more with all the layers.
Below is the render of http://www.daz3d.com/the-nemesis
rendered via the camera included with http://www.daz3d.com/dreamlight/light-dome-pro-r
and using three actions available: default, Miami and cold.

Couldn't resist doing a Sci-Fi scene after picking up a few new toys from Stonemason's store. I'm also using Blue Planet, Orbital View from Aako in the background. Took a while to get the reflections looking the way I wanted them though :)

Playing around with the procedural skin shader and faking SSS.

For this one, I multiplied two image maps in the glow channel. Since Carrara doesn't use image maps for SSS, I assume the maps that I found in the elite shader set were to control SSS in either D|S or Poser. Either way, it gives the effect I want. Remember, the color, freckles, bump, etc. are all driven by mixer, multipliers, noise and cellular functions, etc. and not image maps, save for the glow channel, which I described above.

Nice! I'm having that too I need all the help I can get with lighting, anything that lights well without the dreaded 'Nuke effect' is very handy and you can never have too many poses:D!

Thanks. No, I have not made any adjustments to the lights. They are just loaded from the preset in the Props folder.

Nice one, Dire Bunny. How did you achieved that moody look. Is it made in post work?
If so, could you reveal some details, please.

Well, I do not know, how to paint lights in post work, yet, so here is the quick render made in Strata 3D.

It's nice, but, I think the reflections on the bodywork are a bit distracting.

I have tried to paint some lights (using light flares) in the post work, and below is the result.
It looks like it is a long way to get results, similar to Dire Bunny...

Thanks for the comments, Rogerbee. Without them, I would be lost in the digital pixels.

This is the item, I have bought in 2007 and I don't think it was updated ever since.
I will try to experiment more with post work effects.
