Yes, LDP-R works well and I only need to play more with all the layers.
Below is the render of http://www.daz3d.com/the-nemesis
rendered via the camera included with http://www.daz3d.com/dreamlight/light-dome-pro-r
and using three actions available: default, Miami and cold.
Not overly keen on the car but the rest does look good.
CHEERS!
Couldn't resist doing a Sci-Fi scene after picking up a few new toys from Stonemason's store. I'm also using Blue Planet, Orbital View from Aako in the background. Took a while to get the reflections looking the way I wanted them though :)
Very nice job on that one!
Playing around with the procedural skin shader and faking SSS.
For this one, I multiplied two image maps in the glow channel. Since Carrara doesn't use image maps for SSS, I assume the maps that I found in the elite shader set were to control SSS in either D|S or Poser. Either way, it gives the effect I want. Remember, the color, freckles, bump, etc. are all driven by mixer, multipliers, noise and cellular functions, etc. and not image maps, save for the glow channel, which I described above.
That is really nice!
CHEERS!
Nicely done!
CHEERS!
Daz Studio render of http://www.daz3d.com/lilith-6
dressed in http://www.daz3d.com/shiny-sheetz-ii-genesis-2-female-s
WOW!!
What were the lights, she looks amazing!
CHEERS!
Thanks, Rogerbee. The lights and the background props/scene are from http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/dms-art-unlimited/106325/
Today, there are still on the 50% sale.
They do look really nice,
Just been watching some of the Dreamlight videos, there's so much to play with!
CHEERS!
Nice! I'm having that too I need all the help I can get with lighting, anything that lights well without the dreaded 'Nuke effect' is very handy and you can never have too many poses:D!
More Daz Studio renders using Danie & Marforno ready made scenes/lights (Art Unlimited).
This time http://www.daz3d.com/miu-zen-for-victoria-6
dressed up with clothes from http://www.daz3d.com/werewolf-hunter-for-genesis-2-female-s
They know how to light!
I definitely want these!
CHEERS!
One more Daz Studio render in Art Unlimited series.
This time http://www.daz3d.com/svengar-for-gianni-6
dressed up in clothes from http://www.daz3d.com/jaunty-for-genesis-2-male-s
Once you start with them, you can't stop ... :)
Nice! Are the lights just as they come or did you adjust any settings?
CHEERS!
Thanks. No, I have not made any adjustments to the lights. They are just loaded from the preset in the Props folder.
I'm liking these more and more, and just when I was giving up on Renderosity.
CHEERS!
The Outlaw Laser Robo Geek. Its head lights up and it shoots death rays out of its eyes.
Nice one, Dire Bunny. How did you achieved that moody look. Is it made in post work?
If so, could you reveal some details, please.
Very nice light effects!
Yeah, that's a brilliant render, I'd love to know how it was done.
CHEERS!
thanks all, the bright lights were all painted in Post work. The fog, i finally broke down and bought those age of armour Atmospheric Effects Cameras for DAZ Studio.
Looks like they were worth every cent!
CHEERS!
Well, I do not know, how to paint lights in post work, yet, so here is the quick render made in Strata 3D.
It's nice, but, I think the reflections on the bodywork are a bit distracting.
CHEERS!
I have tried to paint some lights (using light flares) in the post work, and below is the result.
It looks like it is a long way to get results, similar to Dire Bunny...
Hmm, the fire doesn't look all that convincing either.
CHEERS!
Thanks for the comments, Rogerbee. Without them, I would be lost in the digital pixels.
The dragon's fire is a morph in http://www.daz3d.com/steam-dragon
This is the item, I have bought in 2007 and I don't think it was updated ever since.
I will try to experiment more with post work effects.
Yeah, keep it up, you never stop learning.
CHEERS!
