    Does anyone know what the curly hair used for the main promo of Baby Ella is? I'm assuming that it's on Rendo, since the only hair flagged as being used is Tra-La-La and it certainly isn't that one. The "newborn" in the promo looks like she's wearing the new Baby Locks hair from the bundle. 

    Whoever the promo artist is, they used that same curly hair in one of the other promos for ne of the other bundle products as well.

    A quick basic render of Baby Samantha from Small World for Caryn 8 HD and Tobyn 8 HD. There's a little bit of post work because I overdid it with the lighting and stopped the render with some grain still in the image. A full list of the products used is in my gallery (... as much as I can remember anyway!).

    All I need is a body smoothing morph dial to mitigate some of the folds with certain skins. I have definitely seen babies that look like this one sans the plastic skin. Obviously, Daz was not completely taken with it since they did not make it a Core item (number it). However, it is certainly more than workable (I think) with all the G8x morph packs available. I'll find out this weekend. Happy Passover!

    As far as onesies and adult women wearing them : yes, and in public as well, it's considered fashionable in some locations. Sort of like women wearing their husband's dress shirt or masculine button up long sleeve shirt like flannel in winter.

    And I've seen more than a few very small babies in tuxedos and evening gowns in public as well. 

    It's all just clothing and rather modest clothing at that.

    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone purchased the Li'l Caryn Poses. I wanted to verify that there is an issue with some of them before filing a ticket. I am seeing deformity in the mesh for the hands in some of the poses. One example is the right hand crumples into itself in the Li'l Caryn Poses Hug Request. Would someone else with this pose set see if they are getting something extreme? Thank you.

    I'm not seeing any product called Lil Caryn Poses nor in my product library. Are you referring to these: https://www.daz3d.com/lil-tobyn-and-caryn-poses ?

    Edit: I tried checking since I have those poses, but I'm getting Duplicate Formula warnings and other issues loading Caryn. She takes FOREVER to load. A whole list of errors in the log file linking values to Briallen for Alexandria 8 and some strange linking error for Angel-Wings diaper projection morphs. *shakes head* Well I'm far more likely to use Caryn instead of Briallen so uninstalling her fixed the Duplicate Formulas issue.

    Edit again: Ah! I see the poses you're referring to in the Pose directory. And yes, I'm getting badly deformed hands and fingers.

    I was messing around wtih skins on Tobyn. I'm not fond of the baby's default eye-pencil eyebrows, so was testing out some male skins to see if any might look better. Haven't found one that doesn't look odd, because of the tilt of the brows, stubble, frown lines etc.  Anyone found an alt skin for Tobyn? I think I'm going to try female skins next.

    I almost didn't buy Gage, but I threw him the cart at the last minute because I suspected that it would be difficult to find skins that were convincing as a baby.

    You were wise xyer0, there are nice skins but the brows, baked in details and angles of the features don’t look great on the baby.

    This is by far the best render so far on this thread IMO. Wow. Looks normal, not creepy!

    I think Angel Wings over on Rendo has at least one little boy skin available. At least you wouldn't have to navigate stubble.

    The skin textures for Gage are excellent. I really like the character itself too, but I think he's worth buying just for the sake of having the textures.

    I'm trying not to be too negative here so I'll say better than Millennium Baby 3.0, but nowhere near Angel Wings Amanda for Sixus1 baby. Chalk and cheese.

    Thank you Diva. smiley I had a lot of fun setting this up because there are some great props and shaders in the bundle and the add ons products.

    Thank you @Novica smiley I haven't tried the other Small World characters yet, but I'm really pleased with the Baby Samantha character. Because this set is by RedzStudio I'm pretty sure I'm going to like the rest smiley These textures also include a no brows option.

    My go at the baby with a few tweeks, still need to mess with it a bit more but I don't think it's that aweful.

    I think I know what's really bothering me with all these. The fingers just do NOT match the chubby bodies.  The dimples on the hands (where the fingers start) are so-so, but the fingers just don't have enough "meat" on them. They're just adult hands shrunk down.

    BTW, I just loaded Caryn and got the duplicate files error, and in Content Library, there is no People:Genesis 8 Female:Characters:Mechasar:Materials:Iray   like the ReadMe says there should be.

    Has this been addressed/fixed? I know the duplicate files have been mentioned.

    @crispalomino   Yeah, I found them under Caryn in the files, like you said. I was also just wondering if the duplicate file warning was because the vendor had tried to place some under their name too? (But that doesn't make sense, as the files aren't there.)   The files are where they should be, with Caryn as what we look for is logical.
