Definitely not for me.  Too many things are off about the figures - the legs look like inflatable plastic that neds a bit more air, the jaws look too wide and the skins look too plastic-like.  Some of the PA figures are better, but still not quite there.  The only use that I can see for them personally would be for "creepy baby halloween" images.

That said, if other people like them, then I look forward to seeing what they can do with them and hope that there are some renders posted here to prove me wrong in all of the above.

I felt the same thing about the inflatable body parts.  First thing that came to my mind was the Michelin Man, or a Shar-Pei.  The kids are just too over inflated and fat. Agreed with the big wide face and jaw.  Have they ever hear about childhood obesity?  These kids will be diabetic befor they're 5 yr old.  Why does the black baby skin look like shiny plastic?  That makes no sense unless it's really poor lighting.  Overall, I hoped at some point when we got a baby or toddler (age 2 to 3 max), they'd be realistic and adorable. These kids are sumo wrestlers.

    I'm with kyoto kid....I want Cat 8.

I'm trying not to be too negative here so I'll say better than Millennium Baby 3.0, but nowhere near Angel Wings Amanda for Sixus1 baby. Chalk and cheese

There are some gorgeous babies there.

    Everyone's babies look so content!

My memories of newborns are more like this:

(LtoR) Baby for Genesis (Uber Default Iray conversion), Gage for Tobyn HD (heavily morphed, Maxx' iris)

Tobyn's chin, hands, fingers, wrists look like a job for a modeler, which I currently am not. Perhaps Caryn, the female's chin, is less angular.

Did somebody say creepy baby? Please be careful uttering these words, as it appears doing so 3 times in rapid succession can have unintended consequences. Here's what manifested itself after making the mistake while reading the posts in this thread:

After finally getting back home and playing with these rascals just a little bit, it's obvious that tossing the new baby into the genetic soup is easy to do, and tons of fun!

    - Greg

PS: Should have re-run the render after adjusting Baby Nos's mats as they are clearly too bright, but you get the idea and I'm out of time!

Thanks - glad people are liking the little guys. Credit should go to the talented PAs that made the new babies and all the other figures, as well as DAZ for making their marriage so quick & easy!

After much temptation I finally came off the fence.

Bonnie Tyler was holding out for a hero and I'm holding out for a G8 baby.

Where have all the babies gone? Where are the 3D Gods? What's with the fat? What's with the hands? And why do they look so odd?

Isn't there a PA, upon a fiery steed? That can make a G8 baby This is what we need.

A G8 baby, Daz got this last one wrong. It's gotta be cute, it's gotta seem real, about 20-22 inches long

We need a baby, with a 13 inch slight cone head. It's hand should be small, just over an inch, 7-9 llbs with bowlegged limbs

Somewhere in the world, a PA lurks in the dark. Come into the light, don't be afraid, make a baby with skinny arms

Make a baby, we can hold without a crane or lift. One that cries, and burps and drools. We beg you for this gift

A G8 baby. Daz you got this last one wrong. It's gotta be cute, it's gotta seem real, 20-22 inches long

We need a baby, with a 13 inch slight cone head. It's hand should be small, just over an inch, 7-9 llbs with bowlegged limbs

A G8 baby. It shouldn't be larger than life. I'm holding my breath, I'm holding out, need a baby that looks real and right

We need a hero. Make us a baby please. One that coos and cries, and sucks his toes, and has no fat around his knees

We need a baby. We need a PA to make one soon. It can be done, it's not like we're asking. to send someone to the moon

Where have all the good babies gone and where are the 3D Gods? Where's the PA that can fight above rising odds

You're out there somewhere, watching with one eye. Make a baby we can love and not want to kiss goodbye.

    Holdin out for a G8 baby ...

My little attempt at mixing the babies. Mervin the Alien and Baby Sam from Small World for Caryn 8 HD and Tobyn 8 HD. Mervin is at 100% and Baby Sam is at 72% full body.
