@ akmerlow: cool sculpture. Did you try 0,2 instead of 0.2? Here I have to use , instead of . in Bryce to separate numbers.

@ Fencepost52: like a fountain of light. Very nice.

@@Fencepost52: Great movement and metallic colors in your "Electric Taffy".

@@akmerlow: Good modeling and great lighting in your "Sculpture".

  • akmerlowakmerlow Posts: 1,124

    Fencepost52:

"Electric Taffy" - beautiful abstraction, very colourful! Love those light mixtures.

    Horo:

Thank you for kind comment. Parameter was "Y position". As Henryhor suggests, "0,2" works instead of "0.2".

    Henryhor:

    Thanks for comment and advice.

    hubert:

    Thank you!

Yeah, Mermaid...cruel (I was just playing around with the above-mentioned joke that I heard recently).

    Hahe, Hubert...ketchup wink

Akmerlow...your 'child as passenger' is very apt indeed...their existance can transform us, our thinking etc. Btw, love the 'Le Clown' - the lighting is perfect!

Thanks, Mtnmen...abstractness can be many things, I suppose. Chohole's opening description says it all: "What is Abstract. Well as artists we are used to thinking of Abstracts as paintings that use shapes, lines, and colour in a way that does not try to represent the appearance of people or things. However the word does have other connotations as well. Something existing as an idea, feeling, or quality, not as a material object: An abstract argument or discussion is general and not based on particular examples: A short form of a speech, article, book, etc., giving only the most important facts or ideas."

    Art, very colourful!

akmerlow - when I read Henryhor's comment, it clicked. Never had this decimal point/decimal comma problem with Bryce but it drove me mad with another program, I don't remember which one, and since then I know.

Art - wow superb love the colors.

Akmerlow - awesome modeling and render

  • HansmarHansmar Posts: 2,756

Fencepost: Wow, that is a great colourful render, full of motion.

Akmerlow: Really like your abstract figure. Much more elaborate than the ones I made for my first entry (in the museum room).

@ Horo: the decimal point/decimal comma probably depends on Windows regional settings.

  • huberthubert Posts: 410

Ditto Henryhor regarding the regional settings in Windows.

On my German Windows configuration, Bryce decimal values require to use a "comma". When I enter a value with a "dot", Bryce truncates it and all trailing digits get removed.

@ akmerlow: Facing dilemma is excellent. It looks a little threatening, but very good.
    Your sculpture is very successful.
Enamored fascinates me by the play of colors.

@ mtnmen: Abalone is cool. Like faces in a crystal cave.
A Meeting of the Minds is a great idea and well done.

@ Jamahoney: Funny and a great title. I like it.

    @ Fencepost: Fantastic colors.

Good luck to all participants. There are incredibly good works here.

Oops, I never got back to post a 3rd entry (well to be honest I didn't get round to making one!)  Since my last visit there have been some super works added, well done all and good luck to everyone.

  • JamahoneyJamahoney Posts: 1,791

Super, Mtnmen, my mind always feels like that - all jumbled up - in the morning time cheeky

Wow, Akmelow...Enamoured looks great, and love the colours and textures.

Cheers, Drachenlords...for such a serious subject, a bit of fun every now and then won't go amiss.
