    Yes, it's g8m, but it fit to g8f without much fuss.

    Exnem at Renderosity has fiber hair "Body Hair suits" for G3F and G8F that include seperate arm hair patches, but there are a lot more options available at Renderotica, ranging from fiber hair to LIE based transmaps, some of which are also available on their "family friendly store CGbytes.  I personally recomend the fiber hair sets by Mike1954, which are especially versatile as they have multiple growth and styling morphs and the actual shape of the hair pattern can be adjusted using  the opacity maps.  That said, I prefer using DAZ Iray hair shaders to the ones that come with either those or the Exnem sets.

    That's not surprising, since he was inspired by a lot of old character actors who always played funeral directors and butlers... but I think it's the flower in the lapel that nails it. It's just so completely at odds with his eyes and expression. :)

    I think the G8Fs and G3Fs are equally capable, but we didn't start getting a decent number of character sets, skins and add-ons for older characerters until relatively late in the G3 release cycle whereas we got them fairly early on with the G8s.  On the other hand, we're only just now starting to get the more traditional "macho men".types for G8M I think the real paradigm change, though, came with the release of Deepsea's George for G3M... dial just the tiniest bit of George into anything and something magical starts to happen, and he apparently sold really well.

    Here is a couple of my dial spun characters,  they started from the base G8F and G8M and just spun alot of dials till I found something I liked

    Here's one I did awhile back. A mix of The Brute, Josh's Giant, Ollie and a bunch of other things like I tend to do ;) (I usually add really small increments of a bunch of different characters and then fine tune with individual shaping morphs).

    The thing I like best about this thread is users are actually being creative and doing the work instead of using plug and play one click render characters

    Here is a fantasy dwarf type creature I came up with for a project. He is a mix of 4 of Joshs figures and a few other GM8 figures and morphs. Skin is a tweaked Alfred from Tempest3D at Rendo

    Here we have Amy, in a stunning tennis outfit and the new Cafe Curls hair. I had fun with this one ;)

    She's the gang's Doctor, and fellow Cadet. She's one of the older characters at twenty-two when the story starts, already with her MD in hand. She's still got to do her residency and training for working on starships, though.

     

    Her parents were... Displeased by her choice. Amy, on the other hand, couln't care less if Mom's pissed off. Amy wants her loans paid off and to do things that aren't routine checkups for the rest of her life.

    Here's one I made up on the old style bobby a few months back. I wasn't trying for that face when I was combining morphs from different products but when I saw it I knew it was the right face for the render. The Queen's guard is just straight up Jonah HD 8 for Ollie 8.

    1st: Before Floyd....there was Genesis 3 and Zev0's Aging Morphs. I whipped this gentleman up out of those. The lady is mostly a Saiyaness character :).

    2nd: Zev0's Aging morphs again, Genesis 3 Male.

    3rd: Genesis 8 male - someone said a believeable African American character couldn't be made with Genesis 8's base morphs. I used Michael and the G8M morphs, which were the only maleness we had at the time :). I used Kimo's textures.

    4th: Probably one of my favorites. Obviously a large part Ollie...heh.

     

    For whatever reason, I'm better with male characters than female (although I have made some female characters that I thought were pretty nice)....lol.

    One of the female characters I did that I really liked a lot. Started with Saiyenness' Benita (G8F) and a bunch of individual shaping morphs.

    i put this together using creature creator and i cant even remember the skin used ... i think it started as G3M
