Karenine
Thanks! I made her for G3F in '15, and I did some jiggery-pokery to get her fit to G8F a couple of weeks ago. It worked pretty well, if I do say so myself.
One of these days, I'll get her (and a load of others I've got in-progress) through the curation committee here.
I was bored today :)
Laurie
Nice job Laurie! I'd be calling 911 or using my conceal/carry permit if I saw him coming towards me, LOL.
it is amazing who can be created with DS... and the figures available. they keep getting better
Zuri explaining how great Daz studio is.
Christian striking a pose
Emily daring someone to call her "kiddo" just one more time. She might be 4"7 (proportaional dwarfism), but that doesn't mean she's not 21 AND a Military Academy student.
That's not her final skin: I forget whose it is, but she won't be wearing it when I'm done. Part of her height was done with Growning Up, so she looks well younger than she actually is.
Unfortunately, that's not going to save whomever she's got in her sights...
wow ..more great renders ...

Really fun seeing everyones custom characters. Heres one of mine.
wow..another awesome one
There's a couple of morphs in the growing up that help reverse the head young-look; they do help in the situation you seem to be describing. Try useing a negative amount. Hmm not growing up, the face young and cheeks young.
Character I was debating making into a product, but that market is tiiiight.
She's got that sort of northern Mediterranian look- Greek or Italian, maybe Hungarian... You might want to try it anyway. I'm doing a lot of Sino-Japanese folks in an almost anime style (see Rumiko and Emily, both in this thread), and I keep hearing about a dearth of ethnic styles. Yeah, DAZ has been good about getting us more variety in looks, but we could still use more variety in some places.
Duly noted.
I'll give it a look-see. Honestly, I already increased her bust size and narrowed her waist a bit to give her a little less of the childlike look. Although honestly, I've seen proportional dwarves that look like they're in their teens clear the wrong side of thirty.
Thanks for the input! That's probably what I needed.
A couple I posted to my gallery a while ago:
Oh, I like! :). All of them :)
Laurie
all the abovve wow..very good :)
the guy in the tux has some serious character
I like them all
looks like a seller to me.
Here's a gallery of characters done for various illustrations, and used for any number of additional ones over the years. All done with Genesis 1 most of them using gen4 testures and a collection of morphs ported over via GenX.
I am in the position of needing to build new ones using G3-G8. I'm also dialing in a degree of Cartoonized on the new ones. But it isn't a complete set yet.
This is the gallery page over on my own site:

I like him alot. He looks like a funeral director.
So many nice characters
...wip:
She's got armpit hair!!!! AAAwesome, that alone would be reason to buy her @Oso3D
Yeah, but the armpit hair isn’t mine. :)
Ah pity, can you give me a link?
Still a work in progress. Not sure I'm liking Vladimir's skin on this one...at least not unless I lighten the dark around his eyes. We'll see ;). Not done fine tuning the morph yet.
Laurie
Very good! I agree with you on the skin tone, not quite there. The morph looks outstanding though.
those are very cool.
