This is my last image fourth entry* for the HW3D challenge, which ends tomorrow. I had so many technical difficulties with the previous entry, I didn't think I'd have time for more, but I had created textures for a shield prop in late April, and I decided to see what I could come up with to showcase it. The first set I tried looked so amazing, and was so detailed, I just had to use it: the Hog And Barrel interior!

    Anyway, here's

The Inn of the Prancing Unicorn

The Inn Of The Prancing Unicorn, by L'Adair

    * I managed one more, using work I had started and set aside early in the challenge.

No picture (deleted from flickr it seems)?  BTW, remember to set image width to max 800 in the forums.

Hm, I changed it to 400 here but that didn't work, forum bug?

Thanks, that I can see but if I check the flickr url for the first picture  https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49954513791_5e28009aee_h.jpg

it says "file not found", so there seem to be a problem somewhere.

Whee an actual finished render that isnt a test!

also I love dof, because then no one can tell that I quartered all the background textures.

    I also love dramatic lighting

Very cool I create fake dof's with  PS. I delete evrything I want present. Run BG render. Feild blur in PS. Import in in the BG plane set up some lighting and render..

Thank you! Lelu is my original character from Star Wars: The Old Republic. She's the start of a 100k+ word fanfic that I've written and hopefully someday might even finish, lol.

Maybe because the girl's head is very close to the column. Try moving the girl to the right.

lots of noise on the skin. Prollem I run into is these little lines that can take hours to clear with HRDI BD.

My laptop doesnt seem to like DAZ anymore.. whatever scene I am trying to create, my laptop crashes.. Been happening for quite some days now. I will check tomorrow again and if the problem persists, i will leave DAZ and work on some other stuff like MAYA and Photoshop.

It could be something overheating or the virtual memory/scratch file isn't functioning and the laptop runs out of memory and shuts down. To see if it is Studio have a look in the log file.

Hey, thanks! I figured it out. It is basically with one particular file which has lots of dress materails and textures. Hence, my meagre i3 laptop with Intel GPU can't handel it. I made a new quick render:

I also made a paint filter of this photo. If anybody wants, its available in may gallery: https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/users/198191

This @Hellboy, I already commented on your gallery post. This looks perfect. I like how you have painted his body. I need to learn that technique. I just dont know what is it called.

I have done a bit more to Warg and this is iteration two. The render of the Lycan didn't want to play well with the Warg render and, because it is separate from the grass in the Warg render when put together in Vegas he looks as if he is running on top of it laugh Back to the grind.

    Warg 2
