I am so tired, thinking of doing something is draining.  Even trying to decide what netflix show to watch is tiring.

    clocks fall back this weekend.

xtra hour of sleep in the morning!

when did 24 inches of monitor become not enough inches.  inches snobbery.  i can't bear the thought of doing my video editing on a 24 inch monitor.

i have the benq on the xbox1. it's on a tv stand.  sharing it with the pc won't work, won't play xbox at computer desk, and don't want to compose renders at the tv stand.  took me 6 months to pay it off, can't afford a 2nd one, is gonna take 2 years to pay off the iphone.

Why is it when I am in a public spot or somewhere I need to have G8F dressed, the library will load slower and the clothes will take forever to load, than when I am in private?

  • ChoholeChohole Posts: 33,604

You should save yourself a figure which is wearing clothes,  so that you can load that one.   It need only be a painted on set of clothes,  like the old V4 purple bikini.

the purple bikini heart  hit me with a wave of nostalgia

tee hee, remember the M4 hip pose?

my monitor was only 19" back then. and square. lol

...it also gets dark and hour earlier....meh.  No longer having to deal with 14 hours of my day taken up by work and commuting, I get more than enough sleep.

Needed to win that Mega Millions so I could live the "Endless Summer".

You could switch the Viewport drawstyle to Smooth Shaded.

do you mean  things like this You can still buy them

And I do actually still have a telephone that plugs into the wall and you pick the receiver up which is attached to the base unit with a curly cord.   Mind you it is mainly for show  but it does work and is handy if you need to phone someone during a power cut.

My normal phone also plugs into the wall, but has to plug twice, once to electric socket and once to phone socket.

Why does it need electric?  Phone lines here carry a light flow of electricity, enough to power the light-up dials or buttons.  I have a wall phone that required a battery to save the phonebook and Caller ID list.  But it works without it as a phone.

because it is a cordless phone and needs power to keep the battery charged ,  hence when the power goes out the phone no longer works.

Our phone in the house is connected to the internet so no power no phone, which includes the old fashion phone, but it also means if there is no internet there is no phone and the other way around too.

I thought you said it plugs into the phone system and it has a coiled cord to the receiver.  Confused.

Our house phone has a cord, but still needs electricity.

It is not 5:20 am here either, as it is 7:04pm here so I doubt it is 5:20 am anywhere as I think time zone changes are only the hour not the minute.

I need to do something useful, like take a shower, or clean my room, or write a book, but I am doing none of that.

The base station plugs into the phone socket and power socket. The phone line doesn't deliver enough power to charge the battery or to drive the wireless link between handset and base station, hence the need for an old-style phone that can draw power from the phone line during power cuts.

My mum has two friends who live with her who like to use the word meow.  I got some free litter and have it to my mum, but my mum’s two friends use it. It helps the area around the box smell better than it did before I gave her the free litter.  Not sure about Misty’s and Oscar’s opinion about the litter but they use it.  They do not talk much, but Oscar does like to say “meow”

I hate being a touch on hungry side at this time of night.  I am expected to start my nightly fast until I break it in the morning.  I am so tempted to sneak into the kitchen for a last minute late night snack, then go back to my room to start the fast.

  • barbultbarbult Posts: 26,270
Why are you forced to fast?
  • kyoto kidkyoto kid Posts: 41,925

...well got the prognosis and the drive is dead, dead, dead (one of the heads gouged a platter making the entire drive unreadable).

So not looking forward to weeks of rebuilding the runtimes and months afterwards rebuilding the lost scenes and characters from scratch.  Almost had the bus stop scene looking "real" in 3DL and was ready to rework it using the new Awe Shader.  Now I'll have to build it from the ground up all again including re-skinning the bus, shelter, and road signs as well as editing the photo backdrop so I could use an IBL sky (this was my render "test bench" scene).

    Not very enthused right now.

  • DanaTADanaTA Posts: 13,342

That's too bad.  I have my 3D libraries on a different drive than the OS.  And the applications (DS, Poser Pro 2010, Hexagon, Silo, etc.) are on yet another drive.  I'll be backing things up more, now, too...since I got the WD My Cloud Home 4TB drive.
