So, another Teen huh? Not bad! I like what's here!

    Have you looked at the skin tones in the promos for https://www.daz3d.com/fwsa-hailey-hd-for-teen-kaylee-8 ? The character looks sick, but maybe she's half zombie? I'm not all that interested in the Kaylee character, but some of the dForce outfits look good, and the free bundles are tempting (And sitting in my cart for a total of $63.05, while I decide if I'll buy)

    I like the look of the model as well as the hair and outfits (nicely thought out bundle - not sure I would hire a teenager to be a bounty hunter but who knows). Worked out I can get $610 value for around $80 (as we know the vouchers go a bit silly with freebies involved). That would be the Kaylee pro bundle - 3 other pro bundles I do not have and 3 addons. 

    But sadly I became unemployed a little over 2 weeks ago (yes bad timing I know) so will have to safeguard what cash I have until another job comes along. If it happens in the next few days shopping cart here we come. If nothing else it is giving me plenty of time to improve my rendering (which is not hard to do seeing I still have so much to learn).

    Not sure what constitutes being a 'Great supporter of Genesis 8', but check your inbox, an extra 20% off of the Pro bundle may or may not be there.

    The discount seems to be for the pro bundle only this time, not for the addons, at least according to the text of the coupon.

    I'll buy this for the addons/associated deal but I'm not a fan of the character. Kaylee doesn't look like a realistic figure, but she doesn't look like a toon either falling uncomfortably in the middle.

    Thinking about this: I may be a great supporter of Genesis 8, but my special offer appears to put the price up to $94. So I think I will wait a while.

    No, not like a zombie, but the couple of renders were she is wearing grey lipstick, I didn't realize that was a thing now. She looks tan rendered like she is indoors to me.

    Agreed, but I've decided to buy anyway. I rarely use character morphs at 100%, and I now have the Centaur male and female pro bundles for free, plus another bundle. And since I bought a Gift Card at 19% off yesterday, the real price is lower than the $63 for this order.

    Hmm. I'll have to contact Sales, as I have the extra 20% off in my messages, and I'm in PC+ too, but I paid more than you. Thanks for posting that info.

    Cool, glad I have been useful & not totally random tonight.

    In my cart, I had Kaylee Pro, the Bounty Hunter textures, the Walking Dangerously textures, and the Psi Dagger Outfit (plus freebies).

    I was thinking about the Moto bodysuit, but opted against it. I don't really need a motorcycle suit, and there are sci fi bodysuits that I'd use more than that.

    That seems like a pretty decent deal. Alas I am apparantly not a great supporter of Genesis 8 so my deal is not as compelling.  Think I'll pass, maybe buy the biker outfit by itself.

    Yep. The only difference between our carts is I did get the bike suit instead of the Dagger outfit.

    And if you're interested, here's the bike outfit, auotfitted to G8 Male (basic) with "Open Full" morph applied. I expected deformation of the helmet, but it's fine.

    Well what a let down. Huge eyes and pencil thin eyebrows. Another stylized. Figure... surprise?  Her head looks. Like many adult female characters in the store already.

    Yes not overly excited on this one. slightly older version of Teen Josie indeed. I will await to see some renders and when people show what she brings to the gene pool when combined with other figures.

    Well, yeah a teen. I suspected that from the name. "Kaylee" just plain sounds young.

    Not an obvious Thorne doll though. Might still be one, but certainly not an obvious one.

    Not that impressed by the bundle outfits. The boots and shoes are nice though, and not stilletto heeled, either. Could see using either of the hairs in the pro bundle.

    The figure is nice enough, but the main problem is that I just plain don't need her, and don't see her adding anything much unique to the gene pool.

    I just see a young Dannii Minogue. I do wish, however, that these would be true teen versions of the others and not stylised Thorne and Sarsa style figures that don't fall into any one category.

    The main image of her on the starter bundle is very unflattering. She looks orange and the hairstyle and eyebrows look very strange. She looks far better in some of the other images.

    about the only outfit I can use is the motorcycle one.

    She looks like teen Joses sister, I woull have something a little different this time.

    DAZ seems stuck in creating certain looks a lot of the time.

    My cart is sitting at $69.05 right now.  I'm pretty excited about the addons I picked for the additional discount.

    Of course, now the waiting game begins... I like to hold off a day or two just in case other sales might factor in somehow (discounts, new items required for additional discounts, etc.).  Usually the eligible new items are tied to the specific sale, but sometimes any new item will count, and a new Pro bundle works nicely for that...

    This is another one of those 'yep, buying it for the additonal 3 pro bundles' things, but theres a few gems in the Kaylee pro bundle that I like.  Plus I do rather like this addon character:

    It would have been cool if this jacket had an unzip/jacket open option, but can't have everything I guess... at least she's not wearing high heels!

    So far as pricing goes, here's the scoop for PC+ members:

    Pro Bundle shows 51% so 66.13
    In the cart, that goes to 61% which is 52.90 if you have that 20% off green banner.
    Adding 3 of the add-ons gets an extra 20% off. Price is $42.32

    The non-Daz Originals are going 44%, the Daz Originals are 61%. 

    Hope this helps. And don't forget this is July so you have new PC+ coupons to use and can get $6.00 off too. (Edit- don't use if you have free bundles in the cart, it deducts from those too. I just tested it and it hasn't been fixed.)

    Can't get the bundle yet as I'm broke as usual (plane tickets to the US, blah blah, necessary evil expenses) but for me the key character in the bundle is HP Zelie.... She looks like i'd expect an angsty young teen to look in high school, or in a TV show or something. 



    plus she comes with that choker (omg remember those? are they still a thing in the US?????) with a buncha options for it. 

    Anyway she is my fav part of the bundle. Also like the princess dress.... As for the Add-ons, I really like the Psy Daggers outfit. 

    Would have liked more different outfits. Like there's already a biker outfit that was out in the last pro bundle i think. Would be nice to have like, a skateboarder, or floppy hat/flannel shirt emo outfit, heck I'd LOVE to see someone make some jnco style jeans for teens (am I dating myself here??? I was obsessed with jncos when I was a young teen, dang!)  Now that theres dforce, no reason NOT to do jnco :)

    Just a note that you'll need to submit a ticket to CS if you want to use either Plat Club coupon in this sale and you are taking advantage of the Pro bundle freebies.  Just tried the '$6 off of $18' coupon and saw no change to the cart price.  I have the pro bundle and 3 'freebie' bundles in my cart.

    There seems to be an oddly common trend to have bad main images on the bundles even if the model itself is very good, and there are many better options they could have picked from in the bundle to make a good image. Its not good marketing.

    For example the main image on the  Mika 8 pro bundle is just horrible (purple shaved side hair and extremely heavy makeup), but I have found the model to be execeptionally good.

     

    The free stuff is a good deal and there is a good selection to choose from. 

    I think Tean Kaylee 8 looks great, and I will be getting her.

    Kaylee herself doesn't look like a teen to me. Not even remotely. Her face looks very much grown-up and a bit stylized.
