Hi guys, have a little more work in progress to show you lot. Have just taken the asset into Substance Painter for texturing, so first we have the clay render in their render engine, and then building up the texture layering, resulting first in the clean version, which was knocked up in a couple of minutes once I'd warmed up on the software (It's easy to forget just how easy it is to use, and just how quickly you can get some serioiusly effective results). So with this first texture pass done I reckon I'll be looking at possibly 3 colour schemes for this. A bare metal version looks like that might make a nice variant, and then a clean painted version and finally a dirtied up version. Here are some WIP shots from that first pass.
Once finished with Substance, it was back into 3DS Max to put it all together. Nice to see all the bits coming together and textured. So now it's time to get back into Daz to finish this up and get it through PASS and put this one to bed. Oh, and shouldn't forget the other variant option, to go with a blast shield or visor.
Quick concepting of a character for a project floating around in my head that I may or may not do. Elle Fanning (model is Sangriart's Ekaterina) cast as Riyo Chuchi from Clone Wars.

Nice! Looks great and a spot on likeness for that character.
Looks great, almost looks like a Street Fighter/Star Wars cross over with that outfit.
I don't know what it is about a gown with a exposed side like that, but it just gives me the impression that the wearer is more exposed (and thus arousing) than a bikini which covers far less. I think the first time I saw a gown like that was in the early 70s in the "TOS" Star Trek episode, "Elaan of Troyius" worn by France Nuyen. I was just on the cusp of pubery so it had quite the influence. Nichelle Nichols "Frazetta-esque" belly contours in "Mirror, Mirror" and Vampirella's "slingshot" bikini with upraised collar and gloss leather black boots also stirred my loins. Apparently I had (and still have) a turn for the exotic. Yeah, two of those are Trek examples, but I was nearly 21 when I saw Leia in her Barsoom inspired harem bikini, several years after those other influences.

Ha! Yes, there is more fabric there than a bikini... but, yeah, feels much more daring to me as well. The ultra high cut sides are really something for sure. The implication of something more revealing is always a fun thing... gets the imagination going a little bit more, I think.
Laser sword knights are more interesting when they're not in the passion-less monk phase, I think. The boring, no-emotion laser sword knights
Swords are always fun, and laser swords are more fun than regular swords.
Hi hansmolleman33 it really depends what you're after, as you can see from my sig, I can sort you out with an Imperial style corridor set right here. As for other iconic locations such as the Tantive IV corridors and Bespin Cloud City corridors for example? I know of artists who do make them, but they don't generally sell them on sites like this, they prefer to do work for commission or personal projects. I'm also going to be doing an Imperial Hangar environment soon, but that might be a while off yet.
And just a quick heads up if anyone is interested, that V-Wing Pilot helmet should be coming out soon hopefully, so keep your eyes peeled for that release. Here are the latest shots of the asset in action in Daz.
@hansmolleman33 You can get some free environments over on Sketchfab, but you'll need to scale appropriately and may have to use an interim program like Blender before you can get it into Daz correctly, whereas @harold_withers has a great product that's ready to use out-of-the-box so to speak,

I would like to have an Imperial corridor style. That would be a good start, thanks.

Glad to help hansmolleman33 you'll like that set, lots of value to it too being quite extensive. And as mentioned by Phloki3D it's ready to go out of the box so you can get straight into it with Daz if that's what you're working in. Those other sets should sort you out as well, just a little more work involved. As for my own work, like I mentioned, I will be doing a Hangar soon which should be a fun asset, just have a few other things to clear off my dance card first before I can move on to that. Though the asset itself is already done, just needs to be updated and then converted to work with Daz 3D. So once I have committed to working on it? It should be a pretty quick process.

Then it was time to dirty this bad boy up and batter it around a bit.

that looks great, well done
Cheers Rogue7, I appreciate the kind words and feedback. Thank you.
Oh, and I just realised I forgot to include renders of with the blast shield down, and the visor up. Here you go.

Some really great renders since the last time I popped in, great work everyone!
I've been working on some morphs for Captain Rex and Ahsoka, trying to get as close to their more recent Clone Wars appearances as possible,
Oh, and there's a bonus WIP Anakin too
I think this is my first post to the thread. This is just a piece I did for fun. :)

Cool renders, particularly loving that Tantive IV corridor backdrop, nice. And those Jedi characters look great too.
