I knew there was something about that cat!  It does look stoned!  laugh  Probably thinking, "Now where did that piece of pizza go?"

Meow... Uh... I mean, "yeah, I know"... Sorry, I was still wearing the cat costume and I was caught up in the "think like a cat" thing.

The other cats weren't buying it... I think someone tipped them off... That and I was wearing sneakers... And my tail kept falling off.

    So, basically nothing to report.

Morning. Is foggy and catch-your-breath cold here. And last day off. Those are my complaints nao :)

Complaint:  When I took my car out today I noticed that it was covered with pollen.  I guess that explains why my nose has been running more than usual all day. sad

The pollen this year has been crazy... Also the "stringies"... Technically, I think the scientific term is "catkins", but everyone calls them stringies, strings or tassels... They are those long micro-flower clusters that hang from oak trees.  Not only do they cover everything, the clog everything and stain stuff if you leave them too long.

The other day after it rained, between the pollen, the catkins and the inchworm droppings, my car looked like it was dredged up from the bottom of a lake... I think it's actually tapering off these last two or three days, but that stuff is everywhere.

I don't have pollen allergies, but it was so bad last week that when the breeze would move the trees, it felt like you were breathing in fine sawdust.

Regarding the pollen:  Why is it that I never noticed pollen when I was a kid growing up here in NY State?  Never had a problem with allergies.  Never noticed it covering cars and picnic tables & chairs or gathering at the bottoms of windows.  It was only after I moved to Florida for college in the late '60s that I started to notice pollen in the world.  It still didn't cause me trouble but when one can scrape it together with one's hands and make pollen balls it kind'a gets noticed. frown  Now I see it everywhere.  I was blissfully ignorant but now I am its victim. sad

I had a big milkshake for lunch.  I'm lactose intolerant.  I definitely feel something loosely flowing but I don't think it's chi. frown
