Oh yes. I know. But it's the little things. How do I change my viewport size, where the he do I reset my figure pose, where the hell is that HDR light pack that should be in light but isn't, why the HELL are expressions under parameters and not under posing OR shaping. Just little things that costs time and nerves. I still haven't found how to reset my pose. I also just need to complain. Lol

To reset a pose select the figure and where the gizmo is theres a little man, right click on that and you get options, reset figure is one, I hope this is correct I can't get into DS at the moment so I'm doing that from memory.

Some and most these days are under Light Presets but not all especially some HDRIs - which set is it?

    Thank you wonderful person!

As for the light set, I finally located it via the content library and suddenly, I also see it in Smart Content. But now all my people folders in Smart Content are empty.

Was talking About Dimension Theory's iRadiance [which is stunning btw] and the Iray Light Manager. Now I have the same problem trying to find Mec4D's Unshaven settings and shapes. *bangs head on table*

I think I'll just permanently switch to Content Library.

I OTHER news... I just discovered 10$ in store credit from last year and that enabled me to get Novak in addition to the two pose sets I had to get the horse.

Not sure how to turn that into a complaint. Happy :D

And good luck all east coasters

No clue, but where am I going tomorrow?  I wish I could stay home.

Of course, it's all relative and arbitrary as to where I am in space/time anyway.

Some scientists think we should restore Pluto to its former planethood. Being a scientist myself (Biologist, not Astrophysicist) I agree.

my leg slid out from under me in the shower last night.
thought that it would never happen to me.

put putting around town later with my rollerator.  needs tassels and a lil bell. and a cup holderlaugh.  the seat flips up there a lil basket under it. put my umbrellella in it.  sat on it waiting for the scat bus this morning. not all that comfy but was nice to sit.  had to be ready at 5:45 this morning frown  then the other pickup was a no show. 45 minute detaour for nothing.

hospital followup appt today. need a refill on the zofran.

    ...

It's easy, just like this.  Use a sub-species or negative form of complaint called a "non".  For example ...

Non-complaint:  I just found some money!  Yay! smiley

Non-complaints need airtime too.  A good balance of positive and negative complaints keeps the thread from dying.  And like the Universe itself, it's a zero-sum game. smiley

A couple of weeks ago I went for an eye exam.  My hand kept moving, trying to sharpen the images.  I told them they needed to get Studio so I could fix what they were showing me.  lmao  Really, I'm not Van Gogh yet.

I've taken my dad's walker to the grocery store with me several times because it has a seat.  I usually use my cart, but I do like to sit down while waiting at the bus stop.  It's hard to get up from the curb.

Complaint:  Since my Smart TV is stubbornly refusing to acknowlege the 'OK" button on my TV remote when the viewing YouTube menu, I've come to the conclusion that either the "smartware" in the TV is somehow corrupt, or the YouTube app in the TV is now incompatible with server software changes at YouTube in the name of "progress". frown

    Possible solutions:

      1) buy a new TV and see if it works any better. (an undesirable solution at this time)

      2) Watch YouTube at my desk via my computer.  (Possible but long sessions sitting in my desk chair are murder on my back)

      3) Find another way to get YouTube onto my TV screen.

3a)  Connect my TV as a second monitor to one of my computers.  choices are: a computer that is not reliable or fast enough but is within cable length of the TV.  Or possibly, connect to my main computer but that computer is too far away and also doesn't have the correct video outputs to run both the TV and my main monitor. frown

3b) Try that $40 "Fire TV" thingie that plugs into a TV's HDMI port and converts WiFi Internet to a menu of Internet sourced TV channels.  enlightened

Why is it that just after one has over extended one's finances to satisfy one's ego, life will throw one an unexpected financial burden?  I'm 70 years old, you'd think that I'd have learned that by now. frown

I know this is stupid, but is it possible the "ok" button isn't okay?... I know you would consider that a possibility if it was, but maybe open the remote and wipe down little contact pad nubbin thingy and the board contacts with alcohol... I've had remotes stop acknowledging buttons, and even when I looked at them, they seemed clean, but wiping down the contacts seemed to wake the button back up.

Then again my house has more people in it abusing the remotes and you probably wouldn't spill anything on yours.

My earlier complaint of this problem last night covered this possibility.  The "OK" button is OK for other functions of the TV and I've also substituted a brand new exact replacement TV remote with fresh batteries.  Same behavior.  Conclusion almost inescapable.  YouTube on my TV is not OK. frown

I saw something about that the other day...didn't hear the reasoning.  Do you know what the reasoning is?  Seems they keep changing their minds.

My nephew gave me a FireStick for Christmas.  It's great!  I've seen some good movies on Amazon Prime, and Neflix has shows that we like to watch, old ones, new ones.  We watched season one of the new Lost In Space...well done.

Thank you for the testimonial. yes

I've been trying other solutions, all without success.  TV's YouTube app is boogered. sad I guess I'll go ahead and order the FireStick thingie.  I'd been thinking of doing that anyway because for nearly a year, I've been tearing my hair out because the YouTube app has been misbehaving sporadically and dropping out without warning.  I guess that was my fair warning.

...what a contrast from a week ago.  Been in the 60s with showers now and then, finally, "real" Portland OR weather.

Only eight days until the solstice.

Hmmm. speaking of weather and seasons, haven't heard much from PS1Borg in a long while.

...OK so almost three and a half hours later, I believe I finally was able to close out my current phone account.  First the number I was told to call to cancel my service was an automated system that only dealt with paying the bill.  So next I finally found a chat option which I used wqhere I kept getting a runaround that was not addressing what I want.  That person finally handed me off to an "Customer Service Specialist" who called me and who I could barely understand because of her thick accent and a lot of ambient noise in the background on her end again I have tinnitus so I need people to speak clearly withotu a lot of other noise around).  Finally she connected me with a supervisor in an office who finally was able to do what I needed (basically let me pay just the August charges with no restoration fee as I was not continuing service, close the account, and unlocking my phone so I could use it with another carrier)....

...at least I think, as when I went to the site afterwards, there was still a remaining balance of 115$ that showed a 55$ past due balance even though I received an acknowledgment of my payment via email. I'll wait a while and check again.

    __________

I just went back to verify if the changes were made and now can't even log onto my account on their site.  When I enter the phone number after logging in number it informs me the number is already in use by a customer.  So now totally in the dark as to what is up.

I think if you want to keep your number, you have to first transfer it to another carrier, which cancels you current contract in the process.  If you cancel first, your carrier may reassign the number pretty quick.  That's probably what happened here.  Or...the website hasn't done that, but you are cancelled so you can't log in to your cancelled account, and it is holding your number for your use at another carrier.  Hard to tell what has really happened here.
