You might get more readers asking this question as a new thread in the "Commons" section or in the "Technical Help" section here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/categories/technical-help

But to even begin to answer your question the readers would need more information about your computer type (Mac or PC) your computer savvy and your DAZ Studio experience level, the type of problem you're having, what you've tried, etc..  There are many willing and able to help but you need to find them.  This thread is not the best place, despite its title.  We have limited viewership and this is mostly a joke and complaint-about-life thread.

PS: Sympathies about your head. sad

PPS:  But if I completely mis-read your post and you are indeed posting in the spirit of this joke thread then, the joke is on me. blush

...  Some days I look fresh from the trailer park running around town without my teeth in a tshirt and basketball shorts.  ...

Do you often put your teeth in a tshirt and basketball shorts?  surprise

  • It's more a desperate joke but I'm still trying to take it with humor.

I know generally where I should find stuff but I despair frequently

I insist on taking it humorously for now.

But I HATE searching for my content, parameters, morphs, expressions, etc.

In theory, I know where they are. In practice, I need to tab through three different panes until I find a smile. Let alone... I have HDR lights... I still haven't found them! I will when I sit down and search long enough, probably, but ugh.

    UGH!

(I am not saying that this exactly was the reason I stopped rendering when Daz 4 came out, but... -.-)

you can tweak the interfacee to follow more with your wprk flow.

tree view, etc.  float the content tab to drag to side monitor.

i put my pane tabs on top, cant deal with sideways ones.

  • Oh yes. I know. But it's the little things. How do I change my viewport size, where the he do I reset my figure pose, where the hell is that HDR light pack that should be in light but isn't, why the HELL are expressions under parameters and not under posing OR shaping. Just little things that costs time and nerves. I still haven't found how to reset my pose. I also just need to complain. Lol

To reset a pose select the figure and where the gizmo is theres a little man, right click on that and you get options, reset figure is one, I hope this is correct I can't get into DS at the moment so I'm doing that from memory.

Some and most these days are under Light Presets but not all especially some HDRIs - which set is it?

Well, you've got the right thread.  And you've made a good start too, I might add. yes

..non 'plaint.  Finally, real water from the sky this morning.  Actually had to put an extra blanket on last night and finally give the ceiling fan a rest. Low 60s and even quite a few readings in the 50s around town with lots of "green" on the radar map.  Will have to get a jacket out of the closet for the first time in months to go to my gaming session later this afternoon.

I am looking for something made by someone given out for free.  I am not sure if it is still free.  I forgot the name of it and who created it.  I know it is from Daz3d dot com.  It is downloaded I think.  I know it was a prop of some kind like a chair.  That is what I know about it.

edit: it might be easier to find if Smart Content would show something other than "filtering" or nothing.

I'm in South Carolina. You can have some of our water. As much as you can carry.

No, sorry it'll be the kind that falls from the sky. Actually I'm not that close to the path of the storm, but I'll probably lose power.

I will probably get a lot of that soon as in this week soon.  Or in a couple days soon?  Or pretty soon from the looks of that cloud.

...would have taken you up on that a month or two ago when everything was ablaze here.  We'll have the wet stuff around for most of the week.

A hurricane's about to wash one of the Carolinas out to sea. We're not sure which one yet.

Edit: Sorry, I keep forgetting everyone's not from here. North/South Carolina are two US States. Hurricane = Typhoon smiley

Been keeping track of this storm as they still can be very unpredictable.

Complaint: it is after five pm and I did not know it.  Where is the day going?  Also I wish that there was a spellchecking or something in DIM.  I misspelled TerraDome so I could not find anything.

Oddly, I stopped watching/listening to the news a few weeks ago. I'm a worrier by nature and I get all worked up over politics, the economy, finance etc. so I decided to ignore it all. And it's worked, I feel much better. I've actually been getting a lot of news from Daz Forums, that's how I found out about Burt Reynolds, John McCain and the hurricane. It was hard for me to let go of National Public Radio but I did it - mostly (I still listen to a few of my favorite shows). I guess ignorance really is bliss, I'm pretty sure my blood pressure is lower now.

That is it for the evening.  Everyone is supposed to stop what they are doing and clean and the place has to be cleaned by tomorrow morning.

Not everyone is doing that so why should I?

If not everyone jumped off a bridge, would not you not jump ... wait ... huh?

Complaint: I'm tired of product pages not showing the back side of the products.

I need to go to bed soon, but I want to play with DS.  It is getting late and DS is not wanting to work and show the content already installed via smart content.

Complaint:  Arghhh..., my smart TV has decided that it will no longer let me select YouTube videos.  In fact it won't let me select any function on YouTube with the "OK" key on my TV remote.  That button works for NetFlix and for TV operation itself but YouTube totally ignores the "OK" button.  It lets me scroll through the available programs with the arrow buttons but the "OK" button is totally ignored. frown

I've reset the TV, I've reset the DSL modem, I've made sure I have the latest firmware/software on the TV, I've changed batteries in the TV remote, I've even substituted a brand new identical TV remote* with fresh batteries, YouTube accessed from my computer works fine but my smart TV YouTube viewing is kaput! sad

    Booger! angry

    * I actually have a brand new spare identical TV remote handy because I've learned from past experience that sometimes TV remotes go bad and if the TV is more than a few years old, the exact replacement is no longer available for love nor money.  So when I bought my spiffy smart TV 5 years ago I also ordered an exact replacement TV remote "just in case".  yes

...good point.  I keep up with a few choice news services on the Net but that is about it. Also have a weather network (not the Weather Channel) as well.
