Node Instances

I have played around with the node Instances and duplicated figures. But when i move any part of
the original figure it moves that same part of the duplicate as well. Is there anyway to make duplicates that
will hold the original pose when i change the pose of the original figure? I thought it would be a good way
to get in several figures with eg. full uniforms but with different poses without having to dress up every new figure

    A duplicate should not be inheriting anything from its source after duplication (other than the base geometry, but that is true for separately loaded figures too).

  • I don't think that is possible because node instances are just that - node instances. You could make the instances into real figures though with this plugin https://www.daz3d.com/instances-to-objects . If you make a node instaces of G3F and run this script then the node instace will become G3F as well but then again you could also just simply load a new figure into the scene.
