    Not just for March Madness but also not for every sale. Some sales have had extra percents off for 2 or more but the current Rock On sale doesn't.

    Oh is it? I also thought that the "60's band" stuff looked a bit more like 70's. It looks a lot like the stuff my mom had in her band in the 70s, from what I can tell from pictures. But then again, the band could have just had really old equipment, which is entirely possible. :)

    Once again a linked sale. This seems to be the standard model now for pushing G8 stuff. I don't use G8 and nothing in the "Rock-On Baby" new releases has any interest for me whatsoever. But some of the linked G3 hair products are of interest. I would buy them in a no-ties sale but not if I have to buy stuff I will never use.

    Another day, another expensive buy in... I'm not going to buy something just because I need it to qualify discounts, I have to want it too... and not feel like I spent more on the qualifying items that I'm 'meh' about than I'm supposedly 'saving' on the other items. 

    I can wait, years if necessary, for better deals on newer as well as older items.  Plus, I'm pretty happy with my Daz collection as it stands right now...

    I'm sure there are some new products coming down the pike that will get me exicted, but right now, not so much.

    What might be fun would be a 'Genesis 8 Pro Bundle catchup sale' where we get another shot at grabbing any G8 Pro bundles that we may have passed on earlier, with similar perks to what we've been seeing in other pro bundle sales.  I've passed on a couple of G8 Pro bundles in the last year (due to budget), that I might be willing to grab now if the deal was sufficiently enticing...

    Until there is quality male items available, I'm good with saving my money. I might be saving for a while if DAZ continues to throw female stuff at an already saturated market.

    Can't be that saturated if I just picked up two female items.

    I really want the new OOT hair, but I am spoiled with dforce hair now, so don't think I'll be buying much non dforce hair in the future.

    As much as you seem to buy and you didn't use your coupons till today, LOL I used mine early on and I am waiting for the first since there is something I want to use one of them on.

    I had a cart full of stuff from the DForce sale (you know get Long DForce Hair or another item from the same sale, and stock up on discounted DForce clothing), waiting til tomorrow so I could use the May coupon on it. But thanks to the flash sale, SickleYield's Roman Clothes for G8F dropped to like $5, so I threw the Greek chariot from Ironman (heavily discounted because Daz Original) I had been coveting into the cart and checked out real quick. Thank heavens I'd managed to hold onto a fair amount of my store credit inspite of the wallet-breaking Stonemason sale.

    BTW, there is some synergy available on the flash sale.  Some of the "Select Genesis 8 items" from the Zev0 Body Mixer sale stack with the flash sale, but there's a catch.  To turn on the discounts, you need 2 of the new items from that day.  Which is a $21.64 buy-in at least.  It kicks them up to 80% off, which is fantastic, but I only had 4 items cross-listed so I was still 3 bucks short of it being an actual discount.  Still, definately worth checking.

    Oh, and the monthly freebies have changed over.  Remember to make them a separate purchase from your other stuff lest you incure penalties on your discounts.

    Geeze, you are pure evil for pointing that out, LOL I ended up with 8 items cross listed, so even though I had little interest in the Zevo sale items, it made it worthwhile. I thought about also snagging Sakura for 86% off, but I really have no use for a pure anime figure. Thanks for the HU

    I managed to find 2 more and went for it.  I also considered Sakura at that price, but also had no need for her.

    You got me, what it is, is...Sometimes it never takes off the FULL AMOUNT. And it takes a bit off the order, so I usually wait.

    I think I spent the first year missing the Daz Original coupon because of all the tight conditions (can't be used with this, or this, or this, or... really, all the stuff you'd like to use it for)

    Like @Ati, I use my coupons early in the month, on the first cart that qualifies while not having any free items in the cart. One time of spending hours, literally, trying to find something to spend a coupon on so I didn't lose it was all it took. I now look at the coupons as $12 more in my budget. Using them early saves me both time and stress!

    After a bit of back and forth this weekend, in a thread in the members area, we've gotten a shift in the official position on coupons. Here's what Britney stated, for anyone not following that thread:

    Somehow I ended up wtih store credit. I assume it was because something I bought went on Sale. It was unexpected since I didn't ask for it. But I'm not going to complain. It's already spent.

    Did you buy the Edie 8 pro bundle when it was first released? I know there was an issue with the discounts not working properly when it first launched, so they refunded people (who qualified for the additional discounts) but who bought it before the discounts were properly applying.

    Is there a discount for these catalog items if we don't puchase anything? None is listed on the sales page, nor are there any discounts on the catalog pages. The one item I placed in my cart from TangoAlpha doesn't have a discount in the cart either.

    I don't believe I've ever seen Feature Artist catalogs without at least a 30% discount.

    Is this going to be a new trend going forward?

    I swear I've already seen the marketing team do this "no new purchase, no discount" on featured PAs before.

    You still get the 30% off for the DAZ Originals.

    Whoever did the pricing/sale options for todays items....

    No bundle or stacking discount. A 10% gift card that requires me to buy one of the new items FIRST,.,.

    And they seem to always do this with sci-fi stuff. -->

    Thanks to all of the Daz related files I have now, it's time for me to increase the storage size on my laptop...

    here's a stupid question but i rather make sure even if i can guess the answer:

    today's (WED may 2nd) new sales page offers a mega bargain sale of 85% off M4/V4 items with purchase of a new release (i picked the Junktown Gun Store, dreamed of such a thing for a while!). now, i have to reload my card which is totally empty - means go to town, at least half of it on foot from my outskirts cuz buses are infrequent - and i really don't feel like it, also i'm due in town tomorrow anyways. but then again, i really want a few old wishlisted items like hair that i could now get for a song, which would otherwise stay there for another coupla' years...

    will this offer still be the exact same tomorrow?
    usually those daily sales are valid for at least a couple of days, as visible in the banner, right? because i'm getting that 100% guaranteed, although i'd srsly appreciate not having to run to town right now, especially with an incoming headache... >_<
