    What am I missing? I don't see anything weird... Oh, now I see it, you can see through her shoulder in the main promo. I never would have noticed that!

    More like March Blandness to me so far.  I can see no difference in the sales this week from the sales a month ago - except the durrent 'deals' seem more expensive actually.

    The Alexandra 8 HD add-on ($5.28) could wait for two more days. This March Madness sale has been disappointing so far.

    Again, why offer an extra 10% off for owners or buyers of Edward 8 when his sale and discounts have completely disappeared??? He's only been out for about a week!

    I don't think these two sales are connected. There was Urban Future 5 at one time that offered this 10% extra, and that's not a newly released item. Or Owen 8 in the first few days.

    Seems like they do this with the latest released based character during March Madness and other big sales. But Edward hasn't even been out very long and has already lost his sale and discounts twice. I really wish they'd fix it.

    Right!? If they're going to say 'today only' buy him and get a discount on other items, then his sale needs to be working today...  o_O

    To be fair, the page doesn't specifically mention Edward 8 Pro is on sale. You get an extra discount for the current March Madness offers if you own or planning to buy Edward 8 pro bundle.

    Edward 8 has only been out since Feb 22. His sale has disappeared twice in that time, the first time only 4 days after his release, and this time for the entire weekend. Normally base figures are on sale for two weeks straight. That's been the pattern with at least the entire Generation 8 figures. It's weird that his sale keeps disappearing when he is the latest base character and hasn't been out long.

    With how DAZ shifted their sales strategy (eg. higher prices, shorter sales, forced additional purchases to get pro bundle freebies, etc.) in 2018, I'm not even sure if this is a glitch. The first removal was not surprising because DAZ removed the additional 60% PA discount to avoid stacking with March "Madness".

    I'm more than halfway into my fourth year of buying products from Daz, and I was too new to it all to realize how long numbered figures kept their special deals at the beginning. However, I'm confident in saying from what I observed from Victoria 7/G3F's release on, number figures' banners stay live for the entire two weeks the intro discount is active. I have seen on the odd occasion where a specific offer within the figure's sales page has disappeared due to overlapping offers. I don't recall the buy [figure #] and get these, (or three of these,) free offer, or anything like it, before Genesis 8, so Daz has not yet set a precedent for an offer so generous to disappear. or not, during an event like March Madness.

    I really don't see how leaving the offer up could hurt their sales, but pulling it down early could cause a lot of bad feelings. And that could hurt their sales. I bought Edward early on, but I do hope the offer gets put back up, maybe left up a little longer to compensate, I believe it would be in the best interest of both Daz and their customers.

    I find sales like this are a great opportunity. I go through my content library and find all the things I've bought and forgotten about - and I actually get some renders done - and in the meantime, I save tons of money for the next good sale. ;)

    This is so true! Although I was looking forward to getting at least a few items off my wishlist.

    If we had a sale like last year, with older items getting a big discount, then AntFarm would get quite a bit of money from me. :D (Hint, hint. :D)

    Heh... I'm *always* looking forward to getting some things off my wishlist. It seems it grows with every sale instead of shrinking. 

    But that is another great opportunity. Sometimes I'll go back when things are slow and browse my wishlist and go, "Why on earth did I ever add this item?" So... it *is* possible to whittle down your wishlist during an uninspired sale... just not in the sense that DAZ or the PAs are hoping for. :D 

    A lot of times I think I've added something because I wanted to kitbash some scene - and since then I've picked up the actual item I was thinking of cobbling together. Other times, the recent Asian scenes sale made me wonder, "Why don't I have any traditional Japanese style house interior..." and a quick look over at the leading freebie site fixed that problem.

    4 weeks was hardly worth the wait for yet more ancient textures for stuff that nobody really wants anymore. They might as well do away with the freebies section if they're never going to put anything half decent in it.

    I disagree. They are still better than no freebies and occasionally there is something good I can use. Thanks for offering them, DAZ.

    Edward 8 was yanked 4 days after his launch and then again 4 days after. If that's intentional, it's the worst marketing strategy I've ever seen. 

    And today, just 11 days after his launch, his sale is STILL MISSING!
