    I've been here for about three months and I'm starting to think you might be right. lol I've noticed that sometimes the stacking discounts don't add up to what they are supposed to be. It has to be hard when multiple discounts are being applied to the same item via different sales. That kind of thing has to be hard for the sales department to stay on top of. And there is ALWAYS a new sale ..which I love so much (but my wallet hates). lol My hats off to the people who handle the sales, for sure. Those guys are awesome, bringing us new sales every day and having to juggle multple sales every day. I've seen them having to manage like 10 sales going on at once. They're pretty much supermen and superwomen. lol

    It's not that hard... There's a new promotion every day, usually containing new items, which almost always comes with a discount on the catalogues of the artists involved and some sort of other bonus for buying one or more of the new items. Sometimes there are additional random things like the current $4 grab bags, and sometimes flash sales, which are limited time (usually less than a day, ending at Daz midnight) generally 60% off which is what this thread is meant to be for, because it's a horrible business model because it's unrealistic to expect all of your customers to keep checking the store 10-15 times a day without bothering to notify anyone.

    Daily new release sales tend to last around 3 days, but sometimes shorter or longer, and every so often they stack up to the point where there are insane stacking deals around if you're paying attention. Then it all resets again. You can actually wind up with better deals from all these stacking daily offers than the big monthlong sales (and when one of those starts, the daily things become part of whatever silly system they've decided on for that sale.)

    How anyone who doesn't follow the forums or pay close attention to the store every day is meant to learn or know any of this, I have no idea. Before I started using the forums the store was a mystery that occasionally I checked and saw STUFF and THINGS that appeared and disappeared for no apparent reason. It's actually a pretty good system for customers if you understand it, but they really make you work to do so.

    Here's what I do: for each sale, I open up the featured PAs' product pages and arrange prices from low-to-high. For me, -62% is the typical discount, given -45% for current PA sales and -30% PC+ discounts. I quickly scan the page and pay attention to which red boxes are not -45% or -62%. If I do see one, it's either a) due to a special promotion like the current V4 ones or b) there's stacking happening! wink

    But then there are sales where the prices don't show until you put them into the cart, especially the stacking discounts. I go by the prices, then stick things in the cart to see what the price ends up being.

    Good habit forming! Way to train unsuspecting ones - keep putting things in the cart yes yes go on! Kaching! It's a conspiracy! Aaaarrrggghh wink

    I also think the sales managing people are genius. So inventive in sales themes and creating really original 'if you buy this too extra 15%' discount mazes!

    I let my PC membership lapse. Is there a greater discount with it for the bundles? If so, it might be time to rejoin.

    Just read about the bundles. Looks like the answer is no, but if I bought a new item to get the $10 price, I would save money on the new item with a PC membership. Hmm.

    Oh I didn't know about that part. Geez, 80% off for some of those bundles is already great ... ahhh tempting my no spend week >.<

    Bundle sale is kinda awesome.  I don't even use Genesis2, but since I've got clothing conversion clones from Sickleyield, I can add a ton of outfits for my Genesis1 mainstay, and new scenes are always needed.  Went from not buying anything to a cart of over $250 in a couple of minutes... going to have to whittle it down or else I'll feel like too much of a spendthrift, expecially since I don't really *need* any of this.  But what a deal...       

    I used to get very frustrated by the labyrinthine 'buy 2 of those, stack with 15 button points, hop on one foot while singing the alphabet backwards, and we still won't give you the sale price you thought you would get' type sales, but lately the sales have been much clearer and have enticed me to pry open my wallet after a long period of entirely abstaining and only buying elsewhere.

    Yeah, the current deals are great esp with a PC+ new release... but I bought the 3 Aiko bundles last week and I'm expecting NotHiro next week so...

    FYI, it gets better.  We are working right now on giving you your PC+ discount on top of the $10 or $15 price.  For anyone who bought and did not get that, just open a support ticket and they will credit you the difference.

    Thank you for pointing this out - so glad I waited a bit. Practical firefighter outfit for both G2M and G3M and added Brodie, and the normal and addon bundles for both Minotaur and Reptilian - 5 bundles at $2.10 each!

    Quite possibly the best find I've ever seen on the store.

    Wow, this is unreal, thank you so much for pointing this out.  I'm looking at a cart worth $1600.00 that will only cost $200.00, possibly the greatest savings I've ever encountered.  But I wasn't expecting to spend $2 today, much less $200.  What to cut... what to cut... what to cut....     Decisions, decisions....   :)

    good gravy! Picked up the sci fi guns in the Brutes etc sale, and then nabbed 4 of the bundles for SUPER low price (reptilian, minotaur, gated courtway and the arena) - VERY happy right now. :D

    I also found a couple of great older items featured in Daz's $4 sale during the weekend.  Things I never would have come across if it wasn't for the sale.

    The Fantasy Dragonfly could double as a lizard when the horns (spikes) and wings are not used.  http://www.daz3d.com/fantasy-dragonfly
