I wonder if baking a cake and putting the face of someone you do not like would actually be a good idea?   But then you would have to explain why you want a photo of their smug face?

It would be fun to slice it up but I'd spit it out and throw up! :-O

Much more fun to put the photo on the Dart board.  When we were doing one reenactment show,  a boiling hot dry summer day, the so called "star guest" who only had to sit their and sign autographs was a bit sarcastic about our display. I think the actual words were "Have the children stopped playing now" My brother's then girl friend went and lined up and paid to get a signed photo for us to put on the dart borad on the next practice evening.

No names no pack drill but the so called star ended up arrested, tried, convicted and put in jail during the big scandal we had over here sparked by the revelations about Jimmy Saville.

Snotty people suck.  But sometimes a little fame can ruin a person, this sounds like the perfect example.

There's some first-person shotter game that lets you use a photo as a face on one or more of the bots.  Imagine shooting your least favorite persoon in the butt with a rocket launcher and watching them explode!!! Big fun!!

..I have a few personas in mind for that.

Watching 'Cake Wars', a cake cooking competition.  Wow, have I learned a lot!  First, baking is all about chemistry - things have to be accurately measured or you don't get the right reaction and end up with flat cake, dy cake, cardboard cake, lumpy cake, and generally inedible cake.  There is such a thing as modeling chocolate that you can sculpt like clay, only you can eat the darn thing afterwards.  There's edible paper, edible glue, edible photo printers, and of course fondant - which is like sheets of edible firm frosting used to make smooth surfaces.  Now I know how they make all those super fancy cakes with insane details!

I also learned I never want to bake.  So many things to go wrong and you can't bake by the seat of your pants like you can do with regular cooking...

Also, cakes taller than four foot tend to fall on the floor.  Just a warning, I've seen some five foot tall cakes weighing over 200lbs nosedive on to the floor after 3 people worked on it for 4 hours.  Truly heartbreaking.  You need to be part architect and know strength of materials to pull off a tall, gravity-defying cake!  But when it works, it's amazing and beutiful... :-)

Eating cake is the best part of cake making :)

Sometimes true.  But I've watched high-end pro bakers produce cake so bad the judges spit it out!  BEWARD THE BAD CAKE!! :-O

you ever bake a cake, but forgot to whip the eggs first?  >.<  was my 16th birthday cake.  i put a lotta frosting, my friends ate it anyway.

i found a cake recipe doesn't use eggs, uses a whole stick of butter. angel

i logged into ssa.gov, according to them can't retire til 62. i'se gonna have to do a better job of saving, plan is to retire at 59.

Y've seen eggless cake, looked pretty good.  I've also seen cake in a cup cooked in a microwave, the people eating it thought it was great.

    62?  I'm only 58.. dang!

...however you only get about 72 - 75% of the benefits you'd receive waiting until the designated retirement age.  Was hoping to stick it out that long (if you don't retire until 71 you get a pretty decent amount).  However my bones, joints, and circulation system said otherwise.

Yeah, same with me.  I knew if I waited longer I'd get more but my support lifelines were all dead, I'd tried being a working person again but my body balked because anything available around this backwoods area required hard physical work, numb minds, and filthy clothes for jobs that paid less than Social Security.  I could manage the filthy clothes but numbing my mind bothered me.  I did some photography work and continued fixing computers for the computer illiterate until I was 62 and could collect SS, which immediately tripled my income. surprise  For some, waiting until 70 is OK but for me, starting at 62 was the right thing to do.  I rationalized it by thinking that if I retire then some young person with a family will get the job I might have found.  I can live on very little income.  Over my life I've been rich(ish) and I've been dirt poor, I prefer rich but it's not a requirement.  As I said before, when you know that the light at the end of the tunnel is a train, your priorities change.

You baked your own 16th birthday cake?  That seems kind of sad.

You can retire any time you want to, but you can't collect Social Security retirement funds until 62.   And you take a big cut if you do.

I think I thought of a new use for that twlight book in my bookshelf.  I need to prop up my monitor a few inches and I am thinking that book would be great for that.  Wait that is not only Twilight but also Life and Death book combined.  and is hard cover too.   I been meaning to read it but right now it is collecting dust in my book shelf.

Or maybe I have the original copy of Twilight (just Twilight so I can read life and death.  But first I need to read the library book I have been meaning to read.  Of course night time is the perfect time to read but I need to make sure I can turn off my reading light before going to sleep.  Cannot disturb new roommate with having the reading light on all night.  I wonder what that book I see that has the binding towards the inside of the book shelf is.  Not very practical, but there are two books like that I can see.

Sometimes I wonder why I have glasses when I can see okay without them.  oh maybe it is because I see just okay but I see better with them.  I wonder where I last put my glasses.

It was Eclipse and New Moon which is odd since I already see a different copy of both already in my bookshelf.  Why do I have two copies of Eclipse and New Moon.  I understand the two copies of Twilight as they are not identical, but both New Moon and Eclipse are nearly identical other than their location.

Time for another blog post from the Air Fryer Gourmet!

Cooking meatballs in a spicy tomato stew. Use 85/15 beef, roll 6 meatballs about an inch in diameter.  Cook in 250f air fryer on foil base for 20 minutes.  Put can of Italian seasoned chopped tomatos in air fryer cookpot, add 1/3 cup Cholula or your choice of hot sauce, stir and taste.  Add more hot sauce if you're suicidal.  Stir in meatballs.  Cover cookpot with foil.  Slow cook in 250f air fryer for an hour, let sit 10 minutes in closed fryer to finish.  Remove and enjoy!

Just be careful with the hot sauce, it's easy to overdo... :-O

ps.  The olive, caper and hearts of palm salad turned out amazing!

    "How soon is asap?"

Depends on how cold it is and the type of sap.  Maple sap stays watery right up to the point it freezes but pine sap only slowly oozes unless it is very hot.  Although I have known some people who were saps that were pretty slow too.  indecision  And some saps when old enough turn into dirty yellow stones that you can see right through to find the bugs, not unlike some people. devil  And for them I'd say it wasn't soon enough.

Bleah, slept all day, feel dead tired for no reason, now have a huge ache in the back of my neck. Need to do laundry and post on Craigslist, but I'm not sure how far I'll get.  I don' think I ever fully recovered from the hospital, ugh.  Bury me now. :-|
