I'd say that the "extra" isn't working at all. "Extra" is supposed to mean something in addition to. There's various items in that sale category that already has some discounts, but they're still ending up with "only" 70% discount in the cart, not 70% on top of the other discount.
So either the discount isn't working properly, or they wrongly added the word "extra" on the sales page.
Lady Darkness and creeping death is correct at 70%
Decadent Lilith 6 is supposed to be 70% as well
Seems to be all of Sickleyield's items not working.
Is Daz punishing Sickleyield for something?
I'm seeing this too. Not getting a 70% discount on top of already discounted items. Only getting 70% off the regular price.
the 70% replaces the first discount,
you can't have 30% off AND 70% off as that would = free
That's not how it works. The discounts aren't combined to get 100% off. The 70% discount is supposed to be an additional discount. Example: the FireBride dress is 40% off ($14.97). A 70% discount off of $14.97 should make it $4.49. Instead it's only taking 70% off the non-sale price and coming down to $7.49. Someone either screwed up the discount algorithm or it's false advertising as it clearly states "Extra" and there is no fine print that says that discount replaces other discounts.
no comment from mods so I guess the discount not working is intentional after all
hoping it gets fixed before tonight. keeping items in cart
Or they hadn't got to this thread yet.
We've reproted the SickleYield discount not applying and it's being checked, I'll have a look at the "combining with other discounts" now.
We report a lot of errors over in the "Brace yourself, my dear wallet! There's always another Sale - and Glitches!" thread. I know the mods keep a close eye on that thread to catch these technical difficulties. You'll probably see a faster response if you post issues in there instead of starting a new thread. A win-win for everybody.

Nice catch, by the way. These sales are so massive in scope, it's not surprising when a store gets overlooked for the sale definitions, or a discount gets set incorrectly. The store software does a reasonably good job, but the poor folks responsible for setting up all the "rules" in the backend are only human. (And probably exhausted from preparations and late nights working on this event,)
