I've looked high and low for priestly garb for my vampire hunters, fiery street preachers, marriage and funeral scenes, you guys know the drill.

Have you been able to find any turbans? I am currently looking for a usable Sikh turban for my renders as well.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I have found turbans and they are awesome. I think I tracked them down using the freepozitory. If I can re-find them I'll post a link here.

Would very much love a well rigged rosary.

Would very much love a well rigged rosary.

The rigging would depend on how you wanted to use it, especially for a bead loop like a rosary. A single chain of beads would use an Inverse Kinematics (IK) clasp to close the loop, like the hook on a string of pearls, but it would not conform to any figure unless the root (where it clasped) matched to a bone of the figure, like "neck" or "chest", or maybe "hip" or "abdomen" if it's meant to hang from a belt. A necklace is often rigged either to hug the chest, or to conform at the neck/chest and hang free with both sides boned together. This second method would also be the usual rigging for a crucifix or other pendant hanging below the primary loop. Either way, it will be a single bone-chain of two parallel sides of the loop, or a single continuous strand with an IK rig to close the loop.

I'd like to have one rigged so that genesis can use it for prayer. So one rigged to be held on the hand or on top of a dresser to being hung on a wall like a house rosary. And one that is rigged as a long necklace.

Certainly possible. The reason I haven't done something like this is that one, I'm not Catholic, I'm an Evangelical Protestant (does that make it inappropriate?) and two, I don't want to be yelled at when it turns up in someone's nun porn (because it will).

Priestly garments overall are on my "to do sooner or later" list, though it is hard to settle on which design to use.

Tell me about it, for the longest time the only nun outfit you'll get is the fetish kind until, opitex was kind enough to make a ds dynamic one. Predatron made a nice monk outfit, and believe it or not, friars and monks wear them to this day. Just need some priest garbs for all those beautiful 3D churches we have in our runtimes.

I'm not too worried about it showing up in those 3D porn sites. Sad fact is everything will show up there eventually.

Rosaries have a beautiful history, And Lutherans and Anglicans use the rosary as well, the Orthodox Churches use what's called the Jesus beads.

As for which design to do, I'd suggest a daily outfit that the priest use for day to day affairs. It could be an add on for the morphing business suit set you have, just add a shirt with long/short sleeves and up turn collar with a priest insert. I remember in the 90's that kind of shirt was popular for men as well.

Now I would love if you make a set for a priests for when they are on duty,

Now you have to understand that the vestments have not changed much in the history of the Church so you can also make this into a historical set for males in the Holy Roman Empire or the Byzantine Empire . Just add a belt and belt morph for the robes as well as shoes and hose.

To be honest it doesn't matter if you are Catholic or Evangelical, as long as the history of Faiths is treated with respect and dignity. You will always have those who don't care and will be very opportunist with the subject but it is their right of free speech.

I too am in need of priest/minister garments. I am doing medieval historical renders (it's a project) and religious monks/priests etc. are part of what I have to do. the problem is I need it ASAP as I have a deadline of a few weeks. I am desperate for the garments the rosary sounds useful as well.
