Another land oif the giants ish commish render. OT while on the topic of LOTG. I mentioned in the do you make money discussion that I got into this to produce my more "mature" LOTG series. How it went way past my expectation by selling commish projects here and there and having caught the attention of ex LOTG cast members. Ironically enough I found a pic I had photoshopped (which I was doing prior to rendering) in this youtube vid here it is on my D/A page http://fav.me/d2m7egh like they say whatever one puts on the internet lives forever..

    Sophisticated Lady, by L'Adair

This is a render of Genesis 8 Female. She uses the shape morph of Victoria 7, created via Redz latest tutorial in the Morphs from G3 to G8 thread, with Victoria 7's materials converted to Base Female UVs using the Map Transfer utility. (There's a step-by-step tutorial on how I did this, From Map Transfer to Material Presets, in the Art Studio forums.) She's wearing the Classic Tuxedo (G3M) . The buttons are separate, parented objects, and they didn't fare well with auto-fit. But they were relatively easy to move around. The jacket was too loose in the arms for this pose, so I had to leave it out of the scene. It fit well enough in standing poses, though. Last, but not least, is the expression. It took me a few minutes to get used to power pose, but I'm loving the control it gives me over facial expressions.

Thank you, nohiznguyen. (That's the Modern Chinese Bedroom from Esha. It's quite a set. I'm going to have to use it from something more bedroom-y... and since I've worked with it, I feel compelled to get the Modern Chinese Living Room, too.)

I like the simplicity of your image. My eye is drawn in by the foot sticking out front. The subtle textures of the floor and wall are nice, too.

I like the layout on this and the look. Personally, I would have made the shorts dynamic to drape around the legs better

Funny how it is called Sophisticated Lady, yet the way she is sitting is generally considered unsophisticated, LOL Nice render though

Thanks for the shout out I like the way this one came out *Nudity* http://fav.me/dbgravd even though I have a monster rig I find at times you gots to let something render 7 to 9 hours to get a nice result..

On a bit of a break re organizing my custom content that sems to have gone somewhat broken. Its due to going back and forth between 2 machines and the path mess up on the rig..

On some of mine I would love for it to only be 8 or 9 hours. I've got one cooking right now that started at midnight, at 7am it was only 20%. And that's on a 1070. Of course, it's 5 g3 characters and rendering at 6847x3960ish, so it's all a tradeoff I suppose

You know I never follow that % I come from the school of Luxrendering let it run until it looks good and noiseless up to 30 plus hours back in thems days..

I have iray set to infinity and stop it when satisfied.. 9 to 11 hours is in the extreme now on the odd occasions..

I tend to leave mine rendering when I'm not around to babysit them, and don't trust my machine not to reboot out from under me when it's not working. so I render direct to file when I kick them off. Keeps me from being able to watch as they go, but I don't have to worry as much about losing a finished render. Also, I have noticed a difference in the small details between one at 60% and one at 100%. And I'm all about the little details, it's one reason I render so big. I'm wanting to add a 1080ti to my primary rig, just can't quite justify the spend right now

Apparently they just dropped quite a bit figures... I do the same let it run while sleeping at work ect.. I will set some sort of limit if I am out for along time (not to put too much uneeded wear and tear) I will set a limit and let it refine once I am back..

Well, she is wearing a tux! lol

I had to give it a title. "Genesis 8 Female Morphed Into Victoria 7 With Victoria 7 Materials," somehow didn't feel right...

Ok, in my ongoing Red Sonja imagery I had a scenario in mind. Set up the scene, picked the right props, adjusted all the old materials to IRAY and what worked for the scene. Carefully chose the lighting (HDRI and light from the laterns only). Loaded the figure and tried to find the perfect pose, etc, etc.

I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason this image just isn't working on the level I was hoping for, but since I went to the trouble and rendered it, might as well post it.

Tks ^^ The texture used on wall and floor is actually paper.

Lovely character and very pretty skin tone!

I recommend maybe dropping the glossyness though, as she looks really wet (unless that's the look you're going for, of course). :)
