    i dont feel a need to understand this stuff, except a space station harbo(u)r master might.  it's a paradox when a character needs to talk about stuff over my head.

    Home now and want to watch a movie disk but I cannot find the movie player remote which I need to operate the thing.  Found my TV remote

    Found the remote finally.  I looked under my bed and could not find it.  It turned out to be in the desk which the player is on top.

     

    Edit it sounds like time to eat the early evening meal.  Maybe 1632 seems to be a great time to eat dinner.

    Complaint: Went to that London today for a get-together. Standing room only on the train. Both ways. Even worse, crammed in like sardines. angry

    Complaints had to plug in movie disc player for it to work and I have to wait till tomorrow to use PC coupon for may.

    Seems like a win/win situation unless you visit by car that gets 25 miles/gallon and you live more than 25 miles away while the price of gas is $2.50/gallon.  So, if you can walk to the farm to visit the cow you can go home with $5.00.  Otherwise just go to the refrigerator, cook some hamburger and drink some milk. enlightened Unless you really want to hug a big stinky animal surrounded by flies.  Been there, done that, divorced her. devil

    Morning. Empire struck back complaint, it sure didn't like giving up a five day weekend last week, just worked 51 hours over the past four days oscar mike golf eyes stuck  half open and am feeling quite rusty this sunday morning :o

    Been so much not wanting to write about this, but the people who own the place where I am living had their house foreclosed on and need to be out by a week from next Tuesday.  While they found a new place (rental) and were open to having me move with them, because I have no established credit, my application was denied.  Wait lists for low income housing in the city here are all closed which means they are not even taking rental applications.  Market level rent here is far more than I can afford on my monthly SS benefits.

    This also means I will lose my Net as well as phone service as I am currently on the their house plan, which will make thrying to find anything that much harder.

    Ergo, in a week and half I will most likely be out on the street.

    ...thank you.  Trying to keep that from happening however where I live it is a landlord's/rental management company's market right now.  Developers are loathe to build and manage low income housing as there is no profit in it.

    ...at least you should get a more advance warning on that than I did.   For myself, I only learned about it a little over a week ago, then found out on Friday I need to be out as soon as possible. The people I've been renting from thought I could move with them to the new place they are renting, however as I have no recent credit history (never took out a car/home loan or had a CC), my application was denied. The only way I'll get a place is by going through a senior/disabled advocacy agency which can sidestep that and a few other hurdles as I do have an ongoing income from my SS benefits.

    I also have several other friends working with me to try and avoid my ending up under a bridge so I'm not totally on my own.  Unfortunately have to wait until tomorrow when social and rental offices are open again to continue the search.

    ...yes they are.  They are determined to not see me on the street or in a shelter.

    Have to take it day by day here for now. Fortunately where I am I don't have a lot of stuff to pack up. Mainly some clothes, computers, desk. a few kitchen items, and personal items.  They will be renting a van to help me move once a place is secured.

    Need to call another friend a little later today who is also in on this.

    Time for a bit of high octane caffeine, heading to the coffee shop soon.
