It is Thursday.  Mum is going to the beach tomorrow for the weekend with her sister (and their husbands). I cannot go as I have something I call work.

Back to being Thursday.  I wish I was at the beach with Thor on a nice warm Thursday. I would be looking great in my bikini while Thor makes sure I have enough sunscreen on so I will not burn.  Sigh.

complaint - they takin away outlook.  had to use google mail this morning.

when i reply, in outlook, i usually edit the subj with a - and a lil note

don't see how to edit the subject, replying in google.
i see how to make the message bigger when composing, dont' see the bigger screen option on replies.

do i need a special kind of spatula to over easy eggs?
rummaged out an old smaller frying pan, but pan is still bigger than spatula

Edited to add:  I've sometimes considered experimenting with boiling eggs in the shell and finding a way that cooks it to the point where the whites are solid but the yolks are still liquid, then carefully removing the shell and waiting for a carefully selected victim to bite into my ovabomb masterpiece. devil

British favourite, served in shell, within an egg cup, with toast soldiers.

That's cheating, and no fun if your victim expects it to be soft.frown

And besides, over here on the left side of the pond I've lived 2/3rds of a century and never seen an eggcup except in foreign b/w movies.

Edited to add:  Oops: (*blush*) I take that back.  I just now came back from a household sale at which I saw a set of eggcups that were about the only thing left on the shelf that were still for sale. indecision  So let me amend my previous statement and say that in over 2/3rds of a century I have never seen an eggcup in use, except in b/w foreign movies. indecision  Which by some brand of logic implies that eggcups do not work in color or if they are very old. surprise

You don't know what you're missing if you have nver had a dippy boiled egg with toast soldiers.  And never taken part in the challenge to cut the top of the egg cleanly. Competition at the breakfast table as to who can decapitate their dippy egg the best.   And Dad gets a double egg cup, so he can have 2 eggs

Posh people have a silver egg cup with a cover to keep the eggs warm

Best eggs we used to have were when we had chickens running around at the back of the garden.  Nothing like a real new laid, free range egg.   and you can make money from any spare ones. But you do need a big garden to be allowed to keep chickens in the UK,  so we can't have chickens any more, as we only have a little back garden now.

These are mine - Marmite - ironic since I can't stand marmite. Somewhere I've still got a Snoopy egg cup & spoon set that I've had since I was a kid smiley

I have plain white single ones,  to match the double one (which no longer gets used)   but I have just bought myself a pair of pretty bone china ones.

In my area, brown eggs are local eggs...which means fresher.  For a long time there were even commercials that would say that..."Remember, brown eggs are local eggs!"

I did not get any Thor time of course as that was a pipe dream.  Work went fine.  The ride home was another story.

Maybe there is still time to figure out how to have some Thor time on Thursday

What should I watch first in my Thor marathon?

I found an old copy of my résumé but I can't find the newer version.  Hmm.  I want to put both copies of my résumé in one folder.  I am so disorganized. lol  I'm still not finished organizing my self portraits that I took.

The place where I get my main shopping from does some speciality eggs,  fairly local, free range etc  and one sort the eggs are actually pretty pale blue.

doesn't make sense.  i could understand neg 7 if yoo talkin frequency and frequency is higher than 7. subsonic frequency?

...well folks it's been a good run but it looks like it is about to end.

Been so much not wanting to write about this, but the people who own the place where I am living had their house foreclosed on and need to be out by a week from next Tuesday.  While they found a new place (rental) and were open to having me move with them, because I have no established credit, my application was denied.  Wait lists for low income housing in the city here are all closed which means they are not even taking rental applications.  Market level rent here is far more than I can afford on my monthly SS benefits.

This also means I will lose my Net as well as phone service as I am currently on the their house plan, which will make thrying to find anything that much harder.

Ergo, in a week and half I will most likely be out on the street.

Sound pressure when quantified as a decibel (dB) refers to the ratio of the sound pressure level to the absolute threshold of human hearing. ... Since the decibel uses a human threshold as a constant, any sound pressure that is lower than the threshold of hearing will register as a negative decibel.

could you find one of those weekly rooms like Wooly Loach had?

...can't afford it on my monthly SS benefits. Called several housing concerns here and left messages, hopefully will hear back from them today. Found these ones do have openings for low income 1 BR and studios. Just need to hear back from them. One of the people I'm currently living with was looking at single rooms but at my age not into rooming with complete strangers. Dealt with enough "drama" in my life, don't need any more
