    I just got a text saying that a package from CA is out for delivery.  I am not expecting anything if I recall correctly.

    Ignore it,   funnily enough I got an email alert for a deliver from FedEx which was supposedly on it's way,  and I know I have nothing due to be delivered by them

    I was so surprised this morning when something actually worked the way it was supposed to.  Then I realized how sad that was.  It used to be when something DIDN'T work right that it was a surprise.  Now that's the norm and something working properly seems to be the exception.

    I have two (learned) sayings in IT: 'Everything is half broken all the time.', and 'Everything is crap these days.'

    Why is retirement soooooo far away.....  sigh
