I want a new keyboard too.  I want a keyboard that has lighted keys so that I can see them at night.  My room doesn't have enough light at night.  My room doesn't have a light fixture under the ceiling.

It would be much less expensive to get one of those little LED book lights!

    Candles work too. enlightened

I am at the mall which is now closed.   I probably will be shoed out soon.  Waiting to go bowling then home.  Hopefully it will be fun!

...yeah, but with my clumsy arthritic hands I can see knocking one over and starting something on fire or getting wax all over the keyboard.

Candles are the cause of many a house fire.  Too many careless people.

Have you seen the new LED candles? We started using them for our Christmas decorations instead of wax candles.

    Luminous paint and blacklight?

A jar of fireflies?  (a seasonal solution)

A glow stick would last most of the night.

How about a small low wattage lamp.

I used a USB red light on a gooseneck for a few years

    Braille keys?

Yes, they are a great idea!  But, unfortunately, there are still many who prefer the "real thing".

where does the niagara falls water come from?
    underground spring?  Alaska?
straight from the glaciers deep in the secret recesses of Canada?

Quick research shows that it flows from the Niagara River...which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario.  My question is...if the average flow rate is 4 million cubic feet per minute (high flow is 6 million cubic feet per minute), why isn't Lake Erie empty by now?   laugh

Because the inflow roughly equals the outflow:

Ninety-five percent of Lake Erie's total inflow of water comes via the Detroit River water from all the "upper lakes" -- Superior, Michigan and Huron -- the St. Clair River, Lake St. Clair and numerous tributaries. The rest comes from precipitation.

All the great lakes from Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, through Lake Huron through Lake Erie, then across Niagara Falls, then through Lake Ontario and into the St. Lawrence River which flows northeast and out into the Gulf of St. Lawrence, past Newfoundland and into the North Atlantic Ocean.  So four of the 5 great lakes feed Niagara falls.  And, yes, on average inflow equals outflow.

If one were so inclined, one could row a canoe from Chicago, past Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, Buffalo, Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec.  But you might want to portage past Niagara Falls. enlightened

...because it has Lake Huron, Michigan and Superior behind it (and Superior is very deep while Michigan very is long and wide)?
