Rescue Equipment
The rescue equipment has some nice reuseable props and the gorgeous steam truck will look gorgeous if I iRay it (and it too has some decent, reuseable props)
I'm loving that the doors and drawers are rigged in that kitchen! Definitely seeing kitbash potential.
And I haven't done anything with HDRi's outside of skies, so this will be an interesting chance to experiment.

If some people likes to use Smart Content, the two files needed to add Smart Content for 'French Style Shabby Chic Vol 2 Kitchen' are in the archive attached to this message.
I kept the original name, I simply deleted the almost empty 'DAZ_3D_27311_French_Style_Shabby_Chic_Vol_2__Kitchen_.dsx' file created by DIM to force Daz to create a new one, and added metadata to every item. As they are no material presets, either included or as a addon in the store, I didn't bother with creating Compatibility Bases for each of them.
I didn't include the thumbnail so if you want one, you'll have to either create one yourself or do what I did:
The benefit of using a library not managed by DIM is that you'll keep the metadata file safe: in the improbable case of Daz pushing an update to such an old product, I think I read that DIM would replace the existing one.
Then, you'll have to tell Daz Studio to install the metadata (I remember whatching a video of someone explaining how to replace the metadata included in the DIM package and ask DIM to reinstall, but in the current situation, they are no metadata files included in
How to install metadata?
With the Content Library active (I’m reusing older screenshots but the text should be up-to-date):
1. Open your Content Library, right-click on the tab to get the following menu and select Content DB Maintenance
2. Select Re-import Metadata
3. UNSELECT everything by unchecking User Data and All Products, to avoid overwriting existing metadata (it’ll also be much faster to only import one product metadata than your whole library…).
4. Select ‘DAZ 3D 27311 French Style Shabby Chic Vol 2 Kitchen ’ (as announced, it’s an old screenshot done for another set of metadata) and click accept:
Once installed, you will be able to find the kitchen in Smart Content:

**I have G1 Liquid Halo and it looks good converted to Iray & autofits to G9 (feminine) wonderfully - even the boots! (I haven't tried with G9 masculine.) Bonus adorable drone with poses.

I really like Genesis 8 poses, the hair for Genesis 3 male, the demon for Genesis 3 female and the Medieval Sewer, but the rest of the items are also very good. Thanks DAZ.

I really like the hairstyle of the G3M... there's really nothing like it for newer gens, but it's way too clumpy-looking to mesh with what my other characters have for a unified aesthetic. Is there a way to do anything about that? I have a lot of hair shaders, but in my experience they seem like they just make the hair a different color of clumpy. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I guess you mean esp. the moustache. I think you can get better results with other shaders (here I like the painterly style of https://www.daz3d.com/uht2-ultimate-color) although I don't know if you need painterly or rather photoreal but at least it looked better than the original:
Actually I meant just the hair itself. Not planning to use the facial hair. (Assuming it can be separated? I haven't downloaded it to look yet.) That looks like it shows some promise... I go more for photoreal, but maybe it'll work.

@SilverGirl: For photoreal I would rather use another shader. Sometimes it is also the lighting (here https://www.daz3d.com/luxreal-hdri-lights-pack-4) and especially with hair: cranking up the quality 5-10.
@SilverGirl, I was wondering the same thing, so I tried some experimentation with it.
First, it autofits pretty well. I put it on one of my new characters, who's a G9, and all the morphs work on it. I think it looks pretty good on its own, but I wanted to see how it looked with the Backlight hair shaders, which I've liked on other polygonal hairs.
The first attachment is how it looks with the Ebony 15 shader, with added shine and strength at maximum.
The second attachment is a render of the hair with its own black material option. It's subtle, but the wispy parts look greyer and don't blend as well with the top part.
You can see in both of those that the top looks a bit sparse. You can see the curve of Zoey's scalp through it.
So, I tried combining the Adrian hair with another hair to fill in the gaps, specifically FE Soul's Strand-Based Slicked-Back Hair for Genesis 9. With the same shaders from the Backlight set on the Adrian hair, the slicked-back hair blends really well with the Adrian hair and fills in the gaps on top. Attachment three shows that. I quite like it.
I rendered the hair combo without any adjustments to the FE Soul hair, but if you're going to be doing something which shows the back of the head, then dialing the FE Soul hair's head size slider all the way to -100 still fills in the top and doesn't interfere with the back ponytail. You can see how they fit together in the last attachment.
I hope this helps! I think it's a lovely hair to have gotten for free.

Wow, that's super detailed! Thank you! Don't have that slicked back hair, but maybe I have something else similar (goodness knows I have enough hairs... watch, I'll have everything except something useful LOL)
ETA: played around with it some, and I think I got close, but it still kinda looks like he hasn't washed his hair for a week, which definitely doesn't work for that character. WL'ing the shaders you used, as I don't have those yet... they look like they might be handy in general. I'll give it all another go when I get them. :)

A good list of of items, poses, hair, environments for Genesis to Genesis 8. Two texture which I download anyway. Two characters, VYK Sloane and Mila For Genesis 3 Female(s), require head and body morphs (which I don't have and I hope they return to the outlet), but they might work just as well. I also think the Atlantida items will work without the Atlantida Temple. Restaurant Waiter Uniform for Genesis 3 Male(s) and Swamp Witch for Genesis 2 Female(s) are very nice and fits well on g8m and g8f with autofit, as does Flirty Hair for Genesis 3 Female(s).
