    I've found the tea stains to be more amenable if they soak in hot water for a few minutes before the elbow grease. Will have to try baking soda.

    I would like the record to show that I clean my tea mug every quarter whether it needs it or not. laugh

    I actually don't get tea stains in my tea cups.  I put this down to the fact that I use Proper tea rather than tea bags, and I brew the tea in a tea pot. and filter it through a strainer into my tea cup.  Tea pots of course only get rinsed, never get washed out, as they are meant to be darker inside aren't they?

    I'll have you know that I do not use tea bags either and filter through a strainer as well. 'Course I don't (always) rinse the cup since that removes the flavor.

    I am a barbarian colonist after all. wink At least my tea of choice is Indian rather than the typical American floor sweepings that goes into bags.

    My coffee mug at work years ago didn't get washed until the stains noticeably reduced the volume of coffee I could get into the mug. surprise

    Found five dollars yesterday.  Actually got twenty five from doing a survey with food at mall.  Got a watch for mum and a Halloween card for nephew.  I did get some Starbucks ice coffee this morning.  I also got three filling pancakes at a cafe in the mall.  They were so much better than McDonald's.

    Cannot get coffee tomorrow though so might make some tonight to put in freezer to have for tomorrow.
