Can you get more than one year of the PC+ subscription? I would think so.

Not in one cart. But one after the other, yeah.

  • I confirm that you can extend your subscription (mine is until mid 2018). So, yes it is a good deal. but I think that extending it more is useless. in 2 years, many things can change and many other sale will happen

Wow that's a crazy good price. But I already have over a year left and I'm not sure I'll be buying any content at all by then so I don't think it makes sense to pile on more time for me.

However if you don't have one that's probably the best you're going to see for a long time.

I've been here 3 years, and regarding sales, those PC discounts stack on many of them. wink  I've gotten things for under $2 and crazy good deals.  The monthly codes ($12 a month) make it delightful!

Hypothetically, if you were to get one of those orange banner offers that I can't remember whether we're allowed to talk about or not and it hypothetically expired at the end of the weekend, would it apply to each purchase you made over the weekend or just the first (so that you'd have to buy everything you wanted in one hit, rather than leaving some of it to consider for a day or so)? Hypothetically, obviously. It's not for me, it's for a friend... :)

Yep, between the weekly freebies, the monthly freebies, the two PC+ coupons, and all the deeply discounted PC+ items, the membership definitely pays for itself (and many times over if you get it for THAT price lol).

The hypothetical offer doesn't include a coupon code or state it's limited to one use so, hypothetically, I would expect it to be applied automatically to the cart until it expires. Hypothetically. For your friend...

Well, a friend of mine tells me that, seeing as it's one of those discounts that applies automatically on check-out, it should work for all sales in that time period, as the one-shot things usually require a coupon. Still, my friend has started doubting himself after reading your friend's question and now is beginning to wonder. Mostly, because he is invisible to everyone but me, and sometimes he thinks he may not exist. Poor, poor friend...

  • Friends shouldn't let friends shop at DAZ. It's just not good for your credit...bad friend!

Your friend is probably right, which at least makes him brighter than mine :)

A little bird tells me that your hypothetical friends can make multiple orders until end of day Sunday.

  • I heard from a friend, that hypotheticaly - if you had such a orange bar - you would get the PC+ Annual Membership for 14$ -> 80% off

I'm pretty sure that what with one sale and another, my PC Membership is set to expire some time shortly after the Heat Death of the Universe, but what the heck.

DAZ always loved you best!!  laugh

Novica, I asked a similar question on the PC+ forum and apparently it "adds" to your previous membership length. Not sure how it would work if a person didn't have a membership in the first place...

Then you start one at the time of purchase.

And (I think) get this month's coupons (2 x $6) for use today! You'd need to spend them pretty quickly though as the new ones start tomorrow.

That hypothesis would have required buying atleast 10 PA new releases.

Aha, so that's the trigger... That would have been doable. I didn't buy much, I'm saving everything for the PC sales, but still managed to grab 6 new releases.

  • Well that's a bit frustrating.  109 items purchaced (though some were free) since the start of the PA sale, but only 8 were on the New Releases.

That must have been the same little birdie that told me the hypothetical orange bar message specified unlimited use through Sunday... DAZ time, of course. Was that little bird a yellow canary, by any chance?

At DAZ, it pays to have no impulse control.

Seriously, that's a shame. I'm surprised I squeaked through with enough to, hypothetically, trigger the orange bar...

Right, knew it added on, it just wouldn't let me put more than one in the cart, but I'm buying more than two new things so will just split the orders into two separate ones.

Hypothetically, could I buy a membership today and tomorrow at $14 and be covered for the next 2 years? There's no limit to how many Annual memberships you can buy in advance is there?

Edit: Nevermind, I see someone earlier asked the same questions. I should have read before posting.

    Not any more.

Hypothetically, someone's hypothetical friend might have just tested this and confirmed that what you said was true. But when -- let us hypothesize -- this same hypothetical person refreshed their cart a few moments later, the hypothetical discount had dropped (hypothetically) to a mere 10%. Still worth having, but not quite the same.

Hmmph. My September PC+ coupons ran out at the end of September local (UK) time, rather than DAZ time, where (at the time of writing) it is still September. A bit of a kick in the nadgers.

The new coupon codes are up BUT try changing the month from 10 back to 10 09. That usually works up until DAZ midnight.

ETA: Oops, I meant change it back to 09

I once sent a ticket about a similar problem and they reset the coupon. Apparently, the coupons expire before the actual end of the month DAZ time (maybe GMT?) I've since made sure I use mine the first chance I get.
